- Darren Aronofsky, born in 1969, is an American film director, screenwriter and film producer. Aronofsky attended Harvard University, where he studied film and social anthropology, and the American Film Institute where he studied directing. For his feature debut, the surrealist psychological thriller Pi, Aronofsky won the Directing Award at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival and an Independent Spirit Award for best first screenplay. The followup, a psychological drama Requiem for a Dream, garnered strong reviews and received an Academy Award nomination for Ellen Burstyn's performance.

I agree with him about his sentiment about original films, and the underdog fighting for the American way encourages problematic behaviors. In the defence of Captain America though, I feel they understood this and wrote the character to be righteous, over allegiant, which i respect them for.

A 4k camera phone is only one small part of a production, and does not make making a film easier .This is uninformative what a shame could have been so much more,plus people do have imaginations..
It does, compared to 1080. You can completely re-frame and stabilize a shot in 4K. If you tried to do the same with 1080 it'll look blown up and bad. And you can downscale to 2K and while that isn't much higher than 1080 its the standard for high-quality film projection. That being said, one certainly CAN shoot a film in 1080 (I think Whiplash was in 1080, maybe they upscaled it -- not sure) but 4K still does make things easier.
