Love love your approach to weight loss and maintenance 😍 Your channel should be prescribed with Mounjaro 😂Portion control is key for me, I'm very good at overindulging 😅
I’m really enjoying your daily videos, been following you for the last 3 weeks I’ve only just figured out how to comment on RUclips it’s not a social I usually use! Thank you for the content. X
Hey welcome to the comment section 🥰🥰 thankyou so much for watching and commenting - I really appreciate it. Have a lovely evening. Hope to see you back again soon xxx
My goal is to increase my calories to around 1400, I started strength training 3 weeks ago, plan to continue and would like to add some cardio a few days. I just do not love cardio, so hard to make myself do it. I’m on week 11 of Tirzepatide, still on 5mg. I am down 20lbs and 17lbs from my goal. Love watching your videos!
My goal is to lose another 6-8kg max. I am exercising but i need to drink more water, yesterday i had 2 strong coffess and thats it for my fluids, was really busy being organised, meal prep, cleaninng the house, cleaning the rabbit cage😅 So later on i can chat to my mum and spend time with my 5yo after school n after his snack. Have like a chilled afternoon, dinner already done around 1ish 2ish plus the lunch. Todays dinner would be a chicken on the bone, chunky veg/bean soup. Its really cold.
Hi I just finished watching your vlog. What I do when the ready made food does not taste very nice, is I put scotch bonnet pepper in, or hot sauce or, if I do not feel like the pepper I sprinkle black pepper or black pepper corn, or garlic powder rough or fine it tastes better. I mix onion, spinach, mushrooms and occasionally cheese in my scrambled eggs, seasoned with a bit of salt black pepper and garlic. Regarding soups best you make your own when you get the soup maker dead quick and easy, in the soup maker if you want really quick soup if you have frozen peas or vegetables you put it in the maker add water and season to taste. Some supermarkets sell pre-packed vegetables which are pretty reasonable. Sainsburys has soup packs that has butternut squash, sweet potatoes, sweet etc. Put in a soup maker is easy peasy and ready in minutes you have hot filling soup. A lot of the ready made soups don't really taste good. In the soups you can add the chicken or meat for protein. The slow cooker and the soup maker are fantastic for winter. The soup maker has a couple settings, one for smooth silky soup or a setting for chunky soup. Your food always looks yummy as usual. I have tried some. I just looked on your Instagram. Love all your vlogging. videos.
I usually make my own soup or have in the past but thouhh go this try this to see just for a change. Blimey there’s no way I’m putting a scotch bonnet in shooting whilst on mounjaro🤣🤣 I think it would give me dreadful side effects 💩💩💩hahahaha. Thanks for all your tips hun. Hope you are having a lovely week xx
@@ladymawa I am carribean so love spices and pepper. I don't cut it I put it in whole for five minutes ensuring it does not burst as yes it will give runs if the seeds get in. Lol I slightly forgot that it could give runs. I hardly ever buy ready meals and soups as they have high salt content🤣 I cannot even cook my chicken soup. All because of my pulmonary embolism, hypertension. Ever since taking the mounjaro I have been getting better and better thank God for it, loosing the weight and since taking it the swelling in legs are totally gone, I am walking better, breathing better, saved my life, fingers crossed I don't have to have the op but if I do will get op so I can come off the oxygen, travel, and exercise, they have to remove the clots to the lungs as it's blocking the oxygen from flowing and circulation. I have learnt a lot from you. I was following USA vlogs every since seen you been following you. I started the first Friday in May and I think you started just after me. So sorry for mentioning the scotch bonnett pepper would never want you or anybody nor me for loo run.
Aw don’t apologise …. It’s great to get ideas from everyone but it now seems I’m a bit sensitive to chilli’s still pass for now. It’s great adding flavour into food. I’m so glad your health is improving since your injections …. The impact on inflammation is incredible - there are going to be so many health benefits for so many people. It sounds like you have a lot to deal with but I’m glad it’s getting a bit better for you. I appreciate your support and all your comments …. So kind. Yes, I started just after you …. 21st of May. Take care my love xxx
Hello! I’ve had an itchy reaction from every single injection, it’s like having a mosquito bite all week, every week. Apparently not unusual. However, I have researched and found taking an antihistamine an hour before injecting really helps, then taking them as and when I get too itchy again. A small price to pay for the benefits I tell myself! Hope this helps anyone that is experiencing the same. Love the vlogs! Xxx
Hi Marcea, now down 8.1 kgs (almost 18 pounds) in seven weeks, coming to the end of Mounjaro 5mg. Not yet decided on whether to stick with the 5 or move up to 7.5. I know you did a blog a few weeks ago on your holiday, and how you lost weight when you weighed yourself coming back (congratulations), I’m off to Turkiye for 10 nites next week, hoping I don’t undo the work I’ve put in so far to lose the weight. Any additional tips or advice you can offer? The resort is all-inclusive, I’ve kept my eating habits healthy during my journey and only once drank alcohol (not a big drinker anyway, and what I do have is spirits). Like I said, don’t want to undo the effort put in so far. Thanks in advance…
Hi my love …. Firstly well done on your incredible weight loss so far … absolutely brilliant!!! So …. For me I would be worried about moving up dose right before a holiday and would choose to stay on the 5mg for another pen. Purely incase I had any side effects that were new which could spoil the holiday. Obviously you need to do what is right for you though. You should be able to eat well in the hotel. I would pack some Imodium instants with you just incase you get a funny tummy with the change of food. I ate a few kofta type things which ended up upsetting me … probably a bit fatty but I think I’m just a bit sensitive to the fat. Drink plenty of water and have an amazing time my darling xxxx Thankyou for supporting my journey here on RUclips ♥️
I was watching another woman on her Mounjaro journey and I believe she is a nurse. She said that when you do your injection, be sure to wipe off the injection site after because the medication can cause skin irritation. I do it with an alcohol swab. Hope you have an awesome day!
Hi sweetie …. I’ve never heard that before. I usually wipe anyway if there’s a droplet on the surface but the medication is under the skin. I supposed there will be lots of anecdotal tips etc do Thankyou for passing this on. I’ll see if I can find any evidence on this and if I can I’ll have a chat about it xx hope you have a great day too my darling … 🥰♥️
Now I really need to know what was posted on FB lol, yeah I'm nosy but you are right not to say anything if it could be triggering for some. It's 5.16 a.m. and I'm up and already had my injection, I was starving all day yesterday, I'd eat and 2 hours later want something else, I even had a Tunnocks teacake last night, it was scrummy though lol. It might have been because I'd had two days on the trot of under 1000 cals, Monday I was just busy and Tuesday I was just too tired to make anything after being out with the grandkids (they'd eaten at 4, too early for me) xx
Nosy nosy lol 🤣🤣♥️ I’ll maybe discuss it another day with a little disclaimer/advisory before I chat about it. Bless you, it’s hard when you are hungry … but you know why. It can be tricky getting the calories in when you are so busy. Hope you’ve had a couple of higher days my love xxx🥰♥️
I we always a dreadful evening snacker …. Tbh it’s Mounjaro that’s changed it for me. The only thing I could really suggest is make sure you are eating plenty of protein and are well hydrated. Let’s all start soups …. Maybe I should start a soup Saturday series 🤣🤣
I took my 7.5mg in my thigh and last Friday it bled a tiny bit for the first time. Been on it for weeks and had no effect, I guess it changes as we are loosing weight and changing our ways.
