Hi Marcea, enjoy watching your journey very informative. I'm a 70 year old man who has had diabetes for 30 odd years, I've just been put on Mounjaro and it's starting to work, but when I first got my pen and having used insulin for many years I found trying to work out how much to inject myself. I later found out I was under dosing for the first 2 weeks even my practice nurse was unsure what dose I should be taking .I now know exactly what I'm doing now after watching the the you tube video. I was thinking there must be more people like me out there confused with the pen and the dose and just wondering if you could in one of your videos show how the pen works. Ps sorry if this sounds a bit daft lol.
Hi there. Thankyou so much for your lovely message. That’s good news you are on this to help with your diabetes. I’m a little surprised your nurse does not know the dose you should be on. All the info she needs is in the BNF and should also be on the diabetes algorithm. Good that you are sorted now. That must have been stressful for you.
I have discussed how to use the pen in a previous vlog. If I can find the link I’ll share it.
Hope your sugars respond well. Hopefully you will be able to reduce your other meds soon.

I bought that same porridge yesterday ,I’ve not tried it yet but it looked nice. I’m sulking today ,I’ve done my week 16 weigh in today and I’ve put 1lb on , it’s my first gain ,although I did maintain one week .😢,your Sunday dinner looked yummy xx

I was yawning along with you 🥱 I've been out for tea with my two youngest grandkids, they wear me out just watching them! My 5 year old grandson has Ebstein's Anomoly, a congenital heart defect, you wouldn't know it if you saw him running around like crazy 😵💫.

They do make you shattered just watching them don’t you. Of my gosh - I’ve just had a quick read up about your grandsons condition - I hadn’t heard of it before, it’s pretty rare. That’s good he’s charging around having fun and tiring you out 🥰
I was not a fan of the watermelon flavour at all - I think it was one of my least favourite. Having said that I’m not loving my strawberry & kiwi one either 🙈
The sooner we finish then the sooner we can get a new flavour lol.

@@ladymawa Aw, thanks Marcea. Yes Ebstein's is quite rare, he had a hole in his heart too when he was born but that closed up on it's own. He's doing ok though, he's classed as mid range, not mild but not severe. He'll probably have to have the valve replaced but the older he get's the better it will be for him, they use a pigs heart in some cases ! xx
