Before we jump to any conclusions about the mom “didn’t care,” remember the world is as fraught with peril for a grown cat as well as for a kitten.a cat is not like some humans who will abandon their children if it becomes too difficult to take of them. Animals don’t think that way. They will always try to take care of their babies unless something extraordinary happens and they can’t. The mother of these babies could have died in numerous ways, living out on the streets. And I’ll bet her concern right to the end was getting back to her kittens.
Right on valery! I hate the title of this video. "Mom didn't care, but we did." Completely wrong attitude and mind towards animals of the person who gave this video its title. Poor Mom, something must have happened to her.
I agree! A cat would never "abandon" her children!! I'm sure HFP knows but made a little mistake! Only human beings are able to abandon animals or even their own babies sometimes, but I never heard from animals to do this!!
Thank you for calling them out regarding the video title. Clearly, the kittens were not left there for a week without their mother, or they would all be in horrible shape and/or dead. I’m sure the mom was trying to care for her babies and may have met with a sad situation herself. And the woman herself is not telling the truth is she says the other two are “fine” and “in the back”. She, or someone, moved or took them, and it wasn’t the poor mom.
What a beautiful family. I'm so sorry that one passed. Rest in peace little one. Thank you for all you do. I donate when ever I can. God Bless you All. 💖

The kittens are so adorable and Ringo is a very handsome boy. So sad about the last kitty. Great job rescuing them all and many thanks. Thank you, Nadine for calling HFP.
@@hopeforpaws That's what I thought about the dark fur under his chin! Hadn't seen that before. Thanks for rescuing Ringo and probably reducing next year's crop of kittens.
I once found a kitten in my cousins room, and I kid you not he was super friendly 😭 I picked him up and he didn't try to claw me or anything and let me pet him, unfortunately I was in Mexico at the time and lived with my grandma and she hates cats and my cousin doesn't like animals in general
Some neighborhood cats that grow up on the street do end up being friendly, if they have only good experiences with nearby humans. My neighborhood growing up had a handful of solitary strays, & two or three of them were super super sweet.
My feral cat Ravioli is with us since last Christmas when we find him in our harsh winter in north Quebec near the sea. He is now happy, a little too round and loves to play all day and night! He watches the new snow and doesn’t want to go outside anymore!
The two little kittens at the beginning looked like they wouldn't have lasted another day or two. I doubt that their poor mama deserted them. Something probably happened to her. So happy they found the other two kittens. And I'm especially happy that Ringo just happened to be there and was rescued as well. He looks like he's been through the ringer, and yet he's so sweet! Even when they bathed him, he just meowed in protest...he didn't bite or claw. If I lived anywhere near L.A., I would apply to adopt him in a heartbeat. I'm near Vancouver, BC...a little too far away! I hope they all find loving, caring homes.
How difficult it is to spay or neuter your pets? May this little angels would never live in the street anymore. Adopt don't shop. Thank you for helping those adorable furry babies🌹
I love how Ringo just wandered in to get himself rescued. I also want to thank you for all your videos and the information you've passed on in them. It gave me the knowledge and confidence when I rescued some cats. There aren't many strays where I live and I previously would have thought they were owned and simply wandering. From watching your videos I recognized that they needed help and was able to slowly gain their trust. I doubt that I could have achieved that without your videos. Thank you.
Thank you for rescuing the cats. Almost all cats want to be loved, be safe away from predators, and have a steady food supply. In return you'll receive love and loyalty like no other.
Wher I used to live, I had two cats come to my place regularly, meowing and hungry. I found out months later they werent stray at all, just a neighbour's cats who had worked out how to get two dinners every day ! Hats off for their initiative I say
@@KeithH02 Yeah I had a cat a few years ago that did that. He would be gone for a day and I always wondered where he went. After he passed I got a call from a neighbor who asked where he was and I told her he passed away and she said he used to come to her house and get a meal every so often.
@@jimboyd695 Ha ha ! Ive known cats that have a few "owners" on the same street ! It just thought every house, was his to use ! Nice and warm, petted and fed four times a day ! Cats have people well worked out
I'm sure the mom didn't "abandon" her babies but some bad thing happened to her, car accident or whatever. Only human beings are able to do this! Catmoms don't leave their babies behind! Thank you again for all the animals you rescued! Every single life matters!!
Wow. JoAnn is a better woman than I am...reaching in and grabbing that scared kitten with NO gloves. We rescue cats in our area. We live in the mountains, in the woods and people dump cats out here all the time. Shelters and the recues can not handle all of them. We currently have 11. I have made a huge mistake of reaching for a terrified kitten, it bit into the end of my finger and would not let go. I had to go to my doc for antibiotics and a stitch. Kitten teeth are like razors. I an still recovering from pulling a sick cat out from underneath where it was hiding, she was tame, but in pain, and I was bitten 8 times, and the last time she my daughter had to help pry her off me. BUT, even with that...I would do it all again, BUT I now have a huge supply of gloves.. I know it is harder to get a good hold on them, but better to be safe. I applaud what you guys do. I watch you videos, learning what to do and not do to help animals in my area. We rescue on our own, not a part of any non profit. We just can not stand to see a kitty hungry, cold or sick. Best of luck to you all. AND Peace & Love Ringo!
She is just my favorite to watch. She has such a pleasant spirit. Even if I have a bad day, or get overwhelmed by the news, its so nice to see all this.
Bless your heart Lisa! I rescue cats too and feed 2 colonies with a little help. Such precious innocent love bugs. You all who help the helpless, are creating beautiful karma!
Thank you so much fir saving the 2 kittens and the poor stray cat that needed rescuing so much . Boy the babies were really starving . Bless you for taking care of them . I hope they all get well and after that find soon a loving home . Thank you so much for going back and rescuing the other 2 kitties.
My cat came running in as soon as she heard the first kitten meow and then continued to watch the rest of the video on my lap, mesmerised. Thank you for entertaining my feline friend as well!
a ruptured eye ? Jeez, I cannot imagine the vicious attack she received to get that ! Poor little mite. Never mind, safe in you guys' hands she will receive the right surgery, recover well & in a loving foster home to live a long and happy life !! Just goes to show, a shitty start in life doesnt dictate a damn thing how you turn out .. that goes for people too.
JoAnne is such a BadAss when it comes to rescuing Cats and Kittens. No unnecessary Drama...no panicking ...just gets in their and gets 'er done. Love it ! Thanks, Ladies for getting Ringo off the Streets and giving him a chance for a loving, furever home. Obviously he is NOT feral, and was someone's pet at some point. Poor kitties - so sad the Ginger baby wasn't rescued in time 😿. Hope they are all recovering.
Thank you for rescuing also Ringo Starr! He is handsome and deserves a loving forever home! Great!
Right now am not working but when I start working I will start to donate , there's 5million people here please help out and we can save them all
Of course kittens are cute, but don’t forget there are many loving adult cats that are deserving of a permanent home as well.
The mother surely cared - just frightened off by the humans with rakes and scary ways. Bless the rescuers.

They thought that the dark hair on top of his head was dirt and oil, but it's just his natural color 😺
@@hopeforpaws Fabulous and such a fitting name 😍
I agree. He is very handsome. He seems to know it too lol
@@hopeforpawsWas the patch under his chin, (visible at the end of the video), just shadow, food residue, or, is that part of his coloration, too?
