4 dogs, 30 parakeets and 10,000 ticks - it's just terrible what some people do 😓

  • I don't even know what to say anymore... this stuff is just NOT OK! These animals depended on and trusted their owner, and they were treated like garbage.
Having so many ticks on can easily kill a dog! If you missed Dennis' video on the #HopeForPaws channel, please watch it here: • Dennis - a sick, negle...
We are overwhelmed with so many calls about abandoned animals and as you can see, one rescue like this can take a whole day.
Please click here to join the Hope For Paws family: www.HopeForPaw... - joining here is FREE and it will enable me, Loreta, JoAnn, and Katie to text you with important announcements or when there is an emergency that WE need YOU to know about.
Thank you so much for donating and helping us save these animals and provide them with the best medical care - they owe you their lives and they love you and appreciate you ❤️
If you would like to adopt Java, Boogie, Sheriff, or Sabrina, please contact our friends at #LAAnimalRescue who are currently fostering these kids: www.LAAR.org

The more often you charge them, the more likely you are to find these animals dead and disposed of, instead of given a chance for rescue. People will hide their mistakes as long as possible, and go to extremes to do so. Plea deals exist for the victims. Repeated offenders are the folks to go after but they also tend to not be so great at common sense so they're found out.

The people need mental help not the police. These people need education and emorional support. The police are only for their own selfish evil self. The police do much worst then this to millions of animals. The money the police receive by arresting people, jail and probation do not help these animals.

@@BlueSkyPortal here in Connecticut if you ever abuse one animal you are not allowed to adopt another one from a shelter. Even on Craigslist if people are giving animals away they are forewarned they have to go through a thorough process. Most people double-check the new owners. If I see an animal for free I ask that the owner be very careful, I always get a good response.

It’s not good for the ecosystem to release new kinds of animals into an area that’s not used to them, also.

There are huge, multiple flocks of parakeets all over San Francisco that are descended from released pet birds. It’s never good to release your pet birds, but there are instances where they learn to survive and even thrive. There are so many flicks now that they are tourist attractions, and they are well loved by us San Franciscans.

@@andreawaterstreet3901 Oh, nice! Which kind of parakeet?
The ones here sound like Australian budgerigar. I have never seem them survive in natural other than Australia. But if there's a chance, it's really nice to know. In my city, we have a small flock of common waxbills that got away from a pet store like 30 years ago. They didn't disappeared but didn't get to be a really big flock.

Every time I see a recommendation, I watch it and send it on. But I am retired and many of my family and friends are back to work and life. I could never afford any of the pets you save as I am a low-income, senior, but this is the way I can help and I hope this is at least something. Please know there are dedicated viewers like me who love you and the work you do. So many hearts! Love, Cat in Seattle .

@@mitzimcewan9124, they wouldn't have survived if released into the wild, sadly. I have two albino parakeets and albino ones don't live in the wild anywhere because they are such easy prey. It's so sad that people think birds, domesticated birds, can live wild and free, but they don't have any of the skills necessary to take care of themselves. Mine are happy, noisy free-flyers in the house!

Watching this video I can see in Eldad's hair all these years that he and his team have dedicated to saving the lives of so many dogs, cats and all kinds of pets that are left behind by their owners or get lost or simply need a new opportunity. . Your gray hair shows that there is no fatigue, that there are no discomforts or even diseases that stop them from continuing to do this great work. Congratulations on you. Keep it up, we will continue to support from our trench.

Eldad, you and all the ladies have my highest respect. This was a huge job and you got it done .
7 hours pulling filthy ticks !
The Chihuahua came out the best : she practically got a new body.
The best part always is to see the animals running happy around the yard and looking so grateful .
Thank you all for your hard work.
And for the love you give all those angels you rescue .
I guess the parakeets didnt fare too well, but they know how to survive out there.
