Journey never ends, like trying to reach the end of the rainbow. There’s always more to see and do, in this case a journey to falling liquid that has an infinite style to its ever present pull from gravity. Thanks for sharing as much as you do! Beautiful.
Waterfalls are so beautiful and I love the sound of rippling water. The contrasts between the locations were amazing with rock colours and vegetation. Love the music too!
Breathtaking video with awesome color and light exposures of the water. Takes me far away from the scorching reality of daily work. You inspire me to train and get ready for the next hike.
Spectacularly beautiful area...the color from those rocks are just popping off my big screen...thanks so much for sharing...I needed this to end a most dreary day here in Nova Scotia, Canada...
Beautiful! The shots show just how gorgeous they are. I haven't been to Dark Canyon in Utah but one of my favorite waterfalls is one off the beaten path in Utah. It's called Kanaraville falls, and it actually has two waterfalls if you walk up the first ladder. A special place indeed
Spectacular video, as usual :-) I think I saw it on your Rae Lakes Loop trip, but the waterfall on Bubbs Creek near Junction Meadow is a favorite of mine. Also the falls on Evolution Creek as it drops into the canyon of the South Fork San Joaquin River...and Woods Creek upstream from the suspension bridge...dang, the list goes on and on...and just in the Sierra Nevada. Thanks for all your work with these videos.
@@NorwegianXplorer If you're ever in the area, the North Fork of the Kings River is a really nice stretch of water. There is a waterfall (Sue Falls, I think), just downstream from where the trail from Post Corral Meadow reaches the river. It was my first backcountry waterfall. Cool water sculpting on the bedrock, also.
These are fantastic waterfalls, and beautifully shot as always. But one question: why didn't you put in any of the gorgeous waterfalls from the Rae Lakes loop, especially the ones between Glen Pass and Junction Meadow? We were just there, and were totally blown away by the fact that one could just sit and eat lunch two feet away from the top of a beautiful fall. On the other hand, I guess I can't argue with the footage you included here of the lake itself, which of course is also gorgeous!
I think I like the North Fork Falls the best, then the Death Hollow ones. All are great though. Great idea for a video. Hey, just a question, I saw in your last video you guys wrapping ursacks around a tree. Do you not have to hang those 15 feet high? Are they somehow smell proof? Thanks
I think North Fork Falls is special too, such a gem! The Ursacs are made if some sort of unbreakable kevlar, like a bulletproof vest, they dont need to be hung if you use the proper knots to tie it to a tree, they are not smell proof. The more a bear tears at it, the tighter the knot will get, the food might get crushed inside though.
I came in from a day of riding, and sweating in the heat (we don’t get too many 90+ temperatures here in the Pacific Northwest) and it was so nice to sit down and cool off mentally by watching your waterfall footage. Thank you 😊
Loving All your videos and edits, you keep getting better and better with each one! May I ask on the north fork waterfall we’re you hiking the north Buffalo fork trail? Or the Continental divide scenic Trail? Or perhaps the soda fork trail? I would like to pass by on An upcoming trip I’m planning through the greater Yellowstone with my fiancé. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Awesome video. I get the music vs natural sounds comments but I think the music added nicely to the production/ presentation. If I was looking for a three to 4-night backpack, hoping to see as few people as possible, which would you recommend? What would be the top 3?
Thank you Tom, hard to say with all the fires now, but the Teton Wilderness ones for sure, they are very remote, but also Grizzlies, Dark Canyon also if you can get to the Sundance trailhead.
I'm interested in hiking the Devil's washbowl (Kings Canyon), how long did it take to hike there? What direction/ trail did you take? ... Please and thank you ☺️
I took the big Seki loop from Roads End, you should be able to do it in 3 hard days, or rather 2 hard and one medium, then you have to go back or finish off with a loop, so make it 6-8 days minimum
Hello good sir! I appreciate your video as you showed some incredible places! I'm very intrigued with the Dark Canyon area as I plan on making this my first backpacking trip. Did you by any chance take the sundance trail as to gaining access to this area? Any insight will be helpful. Thanks again for your videos
Hello there, yes we did take the Sundance Trail, you need a high clearance 4X4 vehicle to get to the trailhead, the Sundance trail is very steep, watch your knees, I might consider doing something else if its your very first backpacking trip.
Norwegian Xplorer i have some good off trial hiking experiences I just haven’t slept outside yet 😂 again thanks for your input I’ll be sure to do some more thorough research. Keeping the good content coming 🤟🏾
Enjoyable viewing. Thanks for the compilation. Btw, were there any campsites in that Teton Wilderness high meadow-twin waterfalls area where Joey said he wanted to camp but you wanted to press on? Just curious if you guys saw anything.
Awesome, thank you again, I think the not showing the number reflects my thoughts on being out in nature backpacking, the miles, gear, weight etc doesnt matter, only the beauty of the nature, thats what is real and true for me, the numbers doesnt hold any knowledge🏔
@@DrJohn493 Haha, I just think if you fall in, its gonna be a pretty representative name. Its funny with all the old names like Death Hollow, Dirty Devil River etc, sounds like someone had a hard time or named them so people would stay away. I know the story of how one of the people in Powells expedition name the Dirty Devil River though and it was more of a coincidence...

Sequoia by a landslide. All nature is nice but open forest with waterfalls wins by a wide margin. My personal twisted preference.
