Haha, yes, I know, I love Utah and have explored many easy and some less easy places to get to. I believe the landscapes, canyons, deserts, mesas and valleys of southern utah are unique, nothing like it in the whole world. Day hiked Boulder Mail Trail to Death Hollow and back about 10 years ago. Just wanted to keep going once in DH, but.... Definitely inspired to do this as a multi day trip. Perhaps BMT to DH to base camp and do some exploring up canyon for a day or so, then down to Escalante. Love the way you take time to explore with no wildly ambitious itinerary. Absolutely wonderful camera work once again, showcasing the stunning scenery. Thank you so much for the views and our little "Utah Fix" for the night!

    • @NorwegianXplorer

Thank you, this trip we did from the Hells Backbone road is a surprise itinerary, you never know how the water will be for the sections where you either swim or float, people come down with hypothermia in this section that stretches for a few days, and sometimes there is too much water, sometimes too little and no way of turning back. The ambition is in getting through all of this stuff without dying before you reach the BMT, where things get easier lol!

What a great trip Jarl! It looks like the water level may have been a little higher than when we did Death Hollow. Excellent video and perfect music.

Must have been difficult to do in 7 days...I think I could have stayed 7 days at each of your camp sites - so amazingly beautiful!
My two favorite adventures, Jarl & Joey... would love to see a compilation of your videos. I haven't found the one Joey did for this trip. But I think it would be fun to see from both lenses in one video. The different perspectives.
For the longest time I thought Joey was carrying a golf club ... Lol, guess it was his camera set up 🤓
As always, great video. I'm heading out to Selway in the Bitterroot wilderness for a little adventure.
    Safe travels

Thank you Debbie, this was an incredibly cool trip indeed, the campsites where amazing! Have a great trip, I am looking at the Barents sea at them moment, the north pole being the next «solid» ground across the water, although it is not solid ground but ice😂
