I don't think I would have ever gotten the chance to see such extraordinary beauty except through your astounding footage of your adventure. I was completely mesmerized. I love your channel 💕
This is definitely the top of the list of hiking videos I have seen!!! Thank you for sharing! I can only dream of going on this hike but at least you are allowing me to fantasize about doing so.
You really captured the essence of this magical place with your video. So beautiful in spring with all the new growth branching out on the trees. The varying color of the pools of water and the walls is spectacular. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Wilderness at it's best! Absolutely beautiful scenery everywhere especially your trek though the rivers/streams. The colours of the cliffs were stunning. I really enjoyed this video, thank you for sharing!
Great video. Awesome filming. So glad to call this home. Utah has some amazing places. The South/Southwest part is my favorite. So many places untouched for years. Thank God. Truly peaceful.
@@NorwegianXplorerI am so happy you had the opportunity and motivation to see a truly remarkable place on this earth. There are many. Most are a little easier to get to. Cheers!
Haha, yes, I know, I love Utah and have explored many easy and some less easy places to get to. I believe the landscapes, canyons, deserts, mesas and valleys of southern utah are unique, nothing like it in the whole world. I have also made some records inspired by these places under the artist name Melantopia, you can find the music on Apple music and Spotify etc
Amazing video! Also love the acoustics! The landscapes speak for themselves. Even the snakes would not bother me! Simply so beautiful. The wind chimes just are so fitting. Thank you guys for taking us there🏜️🦅🐬💗
Stunning...the colors of the rocks in the canyon, the power in the rock formations, the vastness of the sky and you excellent cameras/editing skills makes this my favorite video so far. Fantastic!
When Joey goes down in the water I think he avoids hitting his head on the rock.! 😯 Love these videos- these guys are good at what they do + enjoy the natural beauty and live in the moment.
Hey Jarl! I watch a lot of hiking videos and this one is definitely among my most favorite!! I felt what I think people hope to feel when they are in church/temple/mosque, utterly awestruck and feeling my place in creation. I also felt your joy and had a few good laughs. I'm a huge fan of Joey's, too, and the two of you together make such a good combo. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
Thank you so much for a visually sensuous experience. I am a rock hounder, so I truly appreciate the beautiful filming of the geology which surrounded you...I learned so much from your journey and it helped me with my own studies in geology. Much love and light to you both.
This trip was totally awesome!! Breathtaking scenery, so beautiful, loved the rock formations, the deep water filled canyons, but not the snakes!! Well done again and thank you!
Spectacular overlooks on the slickrock and fantasic walls in the canyons, Jarl. The "Alien" wall was really impressive. I enjoyed watching you cool off in the stream, pool. It looked refreshing. You and Joey have a great camaraderie. I miss Joey's channel but am glad you have some footage of him. Thank you for sharing. Safe Travels.
Absolutely Beautiful scenery. I think this is my favorite hiking/travel video and I have seen lots. So much beauty in the narrow gorge with the sandstone cliffs. I have hiked extensively but nothing on the scale of this. You guys are incredibly strong and courageous to do this narrow canyon with so much pack rafting through the deep pools. Thank you for taking the time to film this so we can all enjoy this beauty. You did such a wonderful job of filming and editing. Thanks for sharing.
so great, so much untouched natural beauty. Parts reminded me of our tour to the subway in Zion Nat. Park. there i slipped nearly down in one pool with my camera in hand, so i know what you did. Absolutly stunning. Thank you sou much for sharing.
Beautifully shot and edited - thanks for a great video! Death Hollow is definitely Bucket List material. I had a great time hiking Pine Creek last year (just one ridge over) and it's beautiful, but nothing like this.
Would love to thank you guys so much. Drove hells backbone many years ago looking down into this area wondering what it was like down in the bottom. Now thanks to you guys could now see it God bless you both
Day hiked Boulder Mail Trail to Death Hollow and back about 10 years ago. Just wanted to keep going once in DH, but.... Definitely inspired to do this as a multi day trip. Perhaps BMT to DH to base camp and do some exploring up canyon for a day or so, then down to Escalante. Love the way you take time to explore with no wildly ambitious itinerary. Absolutely wonderful camera work once again, showcasing the stunning scenery. Thank you so much for the views and our little "Utah Fix" for the night!
Thank you, this trip we did from the Hells Backbone road is a surprise itinerary, you never know how the water will be for the sections where you either swim or float, people come down with hypothermia in this section that stretches for a few days, and sometimes there is too much water, sometimes too little and no way of turning back. The ambition is in getting through all of this stuff without dying before you reach the BMT, where things get easier lol!
Fascinating and beautiful journey with you. I have been in the Boulder Escalante area, but will likely never see the rugged wild areas you explore into. Thx.
Loved the video guys, what an awesome trip. I love this area, having done hikes in and around Death Hollow but in the early nineties. I had difficulty reading some script particularly on light backgrounds. Oldtimer Englishman from Shropshire who has relived previous experiences through this vid. Many thanks.
That was great. I've all around it and in a little of it. Great views. Certainly not Norway. Seems a lot like some of my mining days crawling under a rock but with utter beauty and daylight.
Oh yes, you really could take all the time in the world, maybe set up a food cache and just explore, there are some amazing side canyons and forks to Death Hollow, stay and swim:-)
