I agree with Wendy on Ewan McGregor! I think its gonna annoy me in the movie. Mrs Pots and Chip... looks like faces drawn on :( ... Emma Watson (not Stone lol) looks a little cold to me still... hopefully her performance grows on me. The Beast... I'm still not sold on how he looks >.>
I do feel like Disney are hoping the nostalgia kicks in and carries this movie. We'll see... I hope I am pleasantly surprised!

I can't really see how Emma Stone looks so cold to you. Since she's not in the film. :) It's Emma Watson up on screen here. She may look like Belle, but I'm thinking Disney is worried she doesn't sing like her. That's why we've only seen no more then a few seconds of her in song in the trailer previous to this one.

Have been plenty of movies with bad trailers, that were great movies... and vice versa.
B&tB is a movie I grew up with, along with many others... so I'm entitled to my own opinions on things that we've been shown so far. I've also grown up with Ewan McGregor performances (being from the UK and all)... and spent a large amount of time in France... so hearing his French accent is kinda jarring. Do you not remember all the negative comments on how the Beast looks when photos were first released? Names like 'goat-man' were spread around a lot.
I'm truly hoping the movie is great... ofc I'm gonna see it... I just do not want to be disappointed. Just saying its great and we should appreciate it because, 'we're getting a live action version', is kinda dumb and passive.
If it makes me feel all the feels while watching it... and stays true to source material, then it did its job.

One point. Yes, they showed basically the whole film, but keep in my mind this new adaption clocks at over 2 hours. The original was barely 90 mins so they definitely have some surprises in store.

This trailer does feel like it's the whole movie in 2 and a half minutes, but I'm still excited to see the full version. The animated original is my second favorite Disney film next to the Lion King.
I honestly loved that it was the whole movie in the trailer because i haven't cared the entire time teasers and trailers have been released. It wasn't until the Final trailer that i'm ALL IN!!!

I have the chills! It was truly a visceral, humorous, exciting, action packed trailer! Now I am on board to see this movie! I do hope it meets my nerdy expectations because I do not think it will surpass the animated one but it will be a cinematic masterpiece. I am hyped for this movie! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I'm happy they did this trailer. They are keeping the music numbers close to the chest I think as to not deter people from seeing it.... cuz I think we at LEAST should have heard.... be.... our..... guest .... not just tale as old as time. I'm seeing it so, no change here hahaha

I must admit, I almost forgot Ewan Mcgregor was in this. Thanks for reminding me, Wendy. To be honest, I don't mind his voice as Lumiere. It may sound a bit different, but once you get used to it, I think he will be doing just fine.
With all these movies coming out next month, I am definitely going to get broke hahaha...But this movie looks simply amazing, so I have to check it out!

I'm with Wendy, the only thing which is throwing me is Ewan McGregor's Lumiere, other than that it was a fantastic trailer, but that could just be the "member berries" talking.
When I had first heard Disney was doing this I hadn't even seen the original and I thought "I think I'll go see that" after watching the original but once I heard Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) would be Belle I was 100% on board because I knew immediately no one but her would nail that role

I SO agree. Ewan does not do a convincing French accent. Ian sounds great as Cogsworth.
Im pretty sure Emma sings for this movie and sounds close too the cartoon voice singer. But not quite.
I'm sorry, it still gets to me that Celine is on the soundtrack but doesn't get the title track, Disney royally jacked up in my opinion. The final trailer was slammin though, I already have my advanced ticket for March 16th, can't wait.

Music is from Alen Menken.. you know this guy?? He did the orginal music for the animated version... they brought him back!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and he did the music for Little Mermaid and Aladdin... just sayin!! LOL

Gaston is perfect! Wish they could get the kid who played Chip in the original back, and puberty is a poor excuse, make it happen and if Belle's dress does not twirl when she spins like in the original I will fucking lose my mind!!!!! Ok, one with the universe.
Ewan did re-record everything. He hated how he did the accent. So it does sound better.
I wonder why they asked him to do it(aside from star power) . I love him but he has to put on an accent. The other characters seem to make scense,
Yet, still no singing from the characters. We see the numbers but no singing. I wonder if Disney is a little worried that people will have the same reaction that Wendy has with McGregor's Lumiere. How it just seems a little "off" from people's memory of the animated film.

Yes, Ewan McGregor's French accent is awful! He admitted as much himself, and he's married to a French lady too. Took me completely out of the trailer I'm afraid.
