Our ambulance services are owned by each respective state, so imagine "Marland Ambulance Service" as being the only and only EMS provider in that state. Also, we don't have EMT level. Advanced Care Paramedic is the minimum qualification required to legally work on an ambulance, partly for the reasons Billy Freeman said.
