I always get excited when I see a Dreamliner weather it’s in a video or in person I get excited cause of how pretty they are and big and the wings are so pretty as well
This is Awesome Jay - Thanks very much for shooting all this great footage and allowing me to see some of the real versions of the 1:200 scale models I have recently ordered! Not to mention my airliner fix for the day! Happy Campers down state!
Thanks 4 watch!ng yeah, this has been better than any other year I remember in that regard. That's for sure. One of the best spotting years I've ever had.
Excellent plane spotting Jay. They were lot's of great movements in this big compilation. It was very cool seeing that B747 not without my mask livery. All in all you did a professional job.
Exceptional video with unrivalled views and non-stop action. The American 787 looked great. I am impressed by the size of the windows on the A220, the Cargolux special livery was great as was the Antonov An124, Especially as Volga Dnepr have currently grounded the type. Gr8 video.
This is fascinating just watching planes takeoff and land for 02:57:11 Is just insane. Like my airport probably get half the planes you saw! I like the camera work and the overall amount of time and effort you put in to make this video. When I went plane spotting for the first time I understood what yall plane spotters go through. I enjoyed the video even though to some people this might seem boring. But me as a crazy Aviation enthusiast and geek I loved the video again thanks for putting in the work to make this video!!
I have to say, your Playground video is the best out there. It pays to work at an airport I guess. Keep up the good work and keep it coming as time permits of course !
I am very busy at the moment with studying, but when I finish my final exam next week I know what I'm going to do.. Sit back, relax and enjoy this video :) I'll be back haha. Thanks in advance for this incredible video!!
Hiya Jay! This is Guerry, your buddy who hailed from Danville, Illinois, and I do apologize for my way-too-long absence. For the last few months, I've had some chronic problems with some service related injuries that have really put a damper on all the things I enjoy (i.e.: Getting my daily fix of plane-spotting). Although I have barely put a dent in viewing your video, I can tell you have a new camera or are doing something very different on you post. This has to be one of the best videos I have seen from you as far as videography is concerned. I cannot wait to view it on my 52 inch, LED TV. Given I barely have a grasp on how to work the remote, I finally figured out how to get "RUclips" on it. Anyway, as far as I have gotten in your video, this vantage point at gate K19 is fantastic! I do like it one heck of a lot better than those videos you shot from inside of the control tower. There is just something about the mix of sounds coming from the tarmac that gives me the sensation of having stood next to you while you took the video. I just wish someone would invent a way to add the smell of kerosene, jet exhaust, and diesel exhaust (from the tugs and luggage tractors) to the videos (except for my subscriptions to porn sites - JUST KIDDING!!!). As I write this initial comment, I am missing all the times I stood for hours at the old observation platform above the same concourse from which you made this video. I really wish you and all your fans had been able to share that experience with me, especially in the days of the great narrow bodied, 4 engine commercial jets which pioneered the golden age of jet travel. This is just an initial comment to get in some narrative before you get overwhelmed with them. Furthermore, I just wanted to let you know that hopefully, I'll be back to being more active with watching your posts, which I have really missed. So my friend, please keep up the great work! I will most assuredly write another comment or edit this one once I had had time to watch this post in its entirety.
Hello Guerry! Great to hear from you again... Wishing the best of health to you and your family. Thanks for the high praise on the video! It helps being closer to the action. I plan to do at least a few more videos from this location if possible. I'm just old enough to have got a faint glimpse of the bygone days when certain classic airliners roamed the air but I agree that sadly there is not a lot of variety when it comes to aircraft these days... but I make do with what I can. And flying will always be exciting. I always look forward to and love reading your comments. Thanks always for watching! -Jay
What an awesome up close video. Up close videos are my absolute favorite. I'm guna have to up my RUclips videos lol just kidding I can't complain I do it as a hobby and I've gotten some 36k views across some 45 videos or so. I envy you having Ohare so close. Great video bro.
@@OHAREAVIATION it's always a good time at the airfield! These machines are an amazing feet of engineering. Watching them never gets old and thanks for your great videos they've definitely influenced me to keep at it. ✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈
over at the old Wally Parking on Scott st. is pretty good... also at the turn-in for the approach lights at 10C on York Rd. is good. Thanks 4 stopping by!
My Lord! What a busy airport! Why do some of the 787 Dreamliners have tugs take them to the runway and some don't? Is there a rhyme or reason why some do and some don't? Excellent video.
Many of the American Airlines gates are too small (terminal is still from the 1960s or so) for airplanes to be brought to and from the hangar with a tug so they must be taxied around. United almost always uses one though because their terminal is much better designed.
normally the Ilyushins and Antonovs are a once a year (maybe twice a year) thing at ORD but this year we've had 4 IL-76s and 6 AN-124s. I wouldn't expect that to continue indefinitely though. Thanks 4 watch!ng
MINUTO 10:30 Estuvo excelente la presentación de CARGOLUX en cuanto a la CORRECTA utilización de la mascarilla en la nariz de la aeronave, tema para reflexionar en la pandemia.

Cool!
There aren’t nearly enough spotting videos from the terminal or point of view of the terminal like this-perfection as always good sir
I plan to do many more in future. Have been pretty busy recently but there is always a new video in progress. thanks very much for watching!
Its great to see a 747 Cargolux cargo in a mask. it would be a good thing that all airlines did the same.Well done to Cargolux

Absolutely stunning footage as always Jay, big thumbs up! ORD is the true avgeek paradise.
Thanks 4 watch!ng Happy to share my O'Hare with all of you
This may be the most soothing video on RUclips. More like this, please.
Thanks 4 watch!ng will certainly try to create more.
I always get excited when I see a Dreamliner weather it’s in a video or in person I get excited cause of how pretty they are and big and the wings are so pretty as well
Thanks 4 stopping by!
This is Awesome Jay - Thanks very much for shooting all this great footage and allowing me to see some of the real versions of the 1:200 scale models I have recently ordered! Not to mention my airliner fix for the day! Happy Campers down state!
Thanks 4 watch!ng glad to hear you enjoyed this!
Amazing video! I still can't believe that we got 3 Antonov's in less than a month!
Someone ordered a lot of vodka I tell ya.🤣🤣
Yeah, about 300 tons 🤣
Thanks 4 watch!ng yeah, this has been better than any other year I remember in that regard. That's for sure. One of the best spotting years I've ever had.
Unpopular opinion: The DHL livery is the one of the coolest default airline livery
I love that bright yellow actually too. creates some color in a generally drab and white sea of airplanes.
I’m a fan
What an incredible spotting compilation mate! Loved it so much! Liked!

Gr8 video.
Thanks 4 stopping by! sorry it took me a little while to get to this comment. Always glad to see you stop by! more to come.

Luv the channel. I am new and it's tough to get good views around the airport for sure. Great job!!
Chicago is certainly not the easiest to planespot at but it is well worth it for those who take the time and try.
I have to say, your Playground video is the best out there. It pays to work at an airport I guess. Keep up the good work and keep it coming as time permits of course !

I'm just old enough to have got a faint glimpse of the bygone days when certain classic airliners
roamed the air but I agree that sadly there is not a lot of variety when it comes to aircraft these days...
but I make do with what I can. And flying will always be exciting.
I always look forward to and love reading your comments. Thanks always for watching!
-Jay

@@OHAREAVIATION UR Welcum Sir...
@@OHAREAVIATION Really yours Camera Work is Amazing...I have seen the Whole Video...
God bless you
Were those 737 Max for Continental?
Sorry think I meant United actually
nope. All MAX aircraft are still grounded for passenger service.

How often do the Antonovs come in
Not too often, but flights from Volga and Antonio have ramped up in the past few months
normally the Ilyushins and Antonovs are a once a year (maybe twice a year) thing at ORD but this year we've had 4 IL-76s and 6 AN-124s. I wouldn't expect that to continue indefinitely though. Thanks 4 watch!ng
Thanks
For the Antonov or even the Ilyushin, do you just check on it daily to see if it’s coming to O’Hare or is there a set schedule posted somewhere?
no set schedule and these are normally very rare at ORD. I get alerts from FlightAware and jetTip.
