I recommend you look at Renderhook and Reshade, especially this example (ruclips.net/video/Ies_H-Uzb4s/видео.html) which I think stays true to the game's atmosphere while looking stunning
The puddle thing is youtubers being stupid. youre supposed to install the version where puddles are only visible when its raining. but they install the always puddle version .
Even in GTA IV they made it annoying with the stupid fade out/in screen between clothes, like just let me cycle between without any damn animations in the way like GTA V does now

It's the most mature GTA game of them all. It's serious yet still has that classic GTA satire. Niko has the most personality out of them too, Claude is just mute, Tommy Vercetti is a madman. CJ is like Claude but speaks sometime. He agrees to run errands and has multiple chances to kill C.R.A,S,H. GTA V protagonists each have little screentime, again Trevor is a madman, Michael is like a depressed middle age man, and Franklin doesn't really have a personality, he just wants to get out of the hood but Lamar keeps bringing him down. Niko is also the only assertive guy not counting the EFLC guys. He doesn't enjoy killing too much, especially when you see what happens when you execute or spare people.
You can’t state this as a fact btw. All gta games are unique and had their own remembering details . I love all gta titles but you can’t compare them . From narrative point of view- because authors parody different people and different cities , come on you expected a parody of russian mafia in Vinewood ? . From technical - because they had to sacrifice one mechanic in order to make another.

Man Ive watched this like 8 times already. Can't get enough of this. Its so easy R* just communicate the community, guys like Rob so talented with these mods. The "definitive edition" could have well been as good as this and possibly better!
I just installed all the mods for GTA San Andreas and let me tell you, the game looks absolutely incredible. Its what the remastered version SHOULD'VE BEEN, and it shows how lazy Rockstar was in making the remastered version. They dropped the ball on it. The cars, the textures, the lighting, the GPS hud, the police wanted hud like the one in GTA 5, the appearances of the characters, the weapons wheel, the murals and paintings inside the bar on Grove street, the billboards, the HD cars, the guns look different and better, I can go on and on why this modded version is so damn good. Of course it helps to have a high end gaming PC like I have lol. I'm running this game in 4K @ 60 fps on the HP Omen 45L gaming PC. Shoutout to the modding developers, internet Rob, and Bandifos.
Dude, you are doing gods work. I never properly finished San Andreas and thought about giving it a go once again. Knowing there are so many mods that anhance the experience I was reluctant to start without searching my ass off for potentially interesting mods. This is an incredible starting point! The great thing about San Andreas mods is how they don't get completely broken every couple of months just so that more microtransactions can be added to a mediocre online mode.
I’d recommend trying a skin mod called CJ remastered 2k19 . It is gives a realistic skin to CJ along with all body modifications. Also, improved vehicle features active dashboard v3.2.1 goes great with FPS mod. However it requires 3rd party cars which support these mods. There is also an editor called vehicle special abilities editor with which you can give cool abilities to different cars like pop up headlights. I also did not like the animation CJ used for driving sports cars like banshee which I replaced using a tool called cfg 2.0 but that’s just my preference. Btw, great video mate:)
this is the definitive edition we all deserved not RS moneygrabber and Fortnite textures. 57 mods all supper cool, but still the fog stays there, as it should , otherwise it breaks the whole magic.

Bare in mind this remastered was "outsourced" To a small division of RS and they worked on it for 2 years.i think they could have added the fog on/off feature and many of the features of this mod.
Some fog is fine, but you're crazy if you think it needs to remain like the original PS2 game. You couldn't see more than three blocks away. SA is not a ghost town, nor is Vice City or Liberty City.
Fun fact : Rockstar could've easily done it all, they just didn't want to, because they knew PCs were shit back then and they had to make a game which could run on the PCs and consoles, affordable too

I just installed all the mods for GTA San Andreas and let me tell you, the game looks absolutely incredible. Its what the remastered version SHOULD'VE BEEN, and it shows how lazy Rockstar was in making the remastered version. They dropped the ball on it. The cars, the textures, the lighting, the GPS hud, the police wanted hud like the one in GTA 5, the appearances of the characters, the weapons wheel, the murals and paintings inside the bar on Grove street, the billboards, the HD cars, the guns look different and better, I can go on and on why this modded version is so damn good. Of course it helps to have a high end gaming PC like I have lol. I'm running this game in 4K @ 60 fps on the HP Omen 45L gaming PC. Shoutout to the modding developers, internet Rob, and Bandifos.

these mods aren't compatible with story mode, a lot of them are tho! Think it's the real peds remake mod that causes issues, plus some others.

4- install open limit adjuster
5- you can now install almost every mod you mod want. Just make a folder in modloader for specific mods.
6- if you need some cool mods just look up flaqko in gta inside ;)

I spent so much time playing San Andreas and Vice City when I first got a PC. then I discovered SA:MP and mods. I was so invested, happy memories.
I’d recommend trying a skin mod called CJ remastered 2k19 . It is gives a realistic skin to CJ along with all body modifications. Also, improved vehicle features active dashboard v3.2.1 goes great with FPS mod. However it requires 3rd party cars which support these mods. There is also an editor called vehicle special abilities editor with which you can give cool abilities to different cars like pop up headlights. I also did not like the animation CJ used for driving sports cars like banshee which I replaced using a tool called cfg 2.0 but that’s just my preference. Btw, great video mate:)

this is the definitive edition we all deserved not RS moneygrabber and Fortnite textures. 57 mods all supper cool, but still the fog stays there, as it should , otherwise it breaks the whole magic.

Bare in mind this remastered was "outsourced" To a small division of RS and they worked on it for 2 years.i think they could have added the fog on/off feature and many of the features of this mod.

Some fog is fine, but you're crazy if you think it needs to remain like the original PS2 game. You couldn't see more than three blocks away. SA is not a ghost town, nor is Vice City or Liberty City.
Fun fact : Rockstar could've easily done it all, they just didn't want to, because they knew PCs were shit back then and they had to make a game which could run on the PCs and consoles, affordable too
