I'm a big Cavs fan and while I'm enjoying the start, some people here in Cleveland are going really overboard about it. That being said I'm still happy to be surprised so far with them this year.
The Pacers were the 4 seed, they find how explosive TJ Warren can be in the bubble, get healthy, hire a Nick Nurse protégé who's a better fit with the team, and all the sudden there's talk they're going to miss the playoffs??? GTFO. People were acting like you can add Russ to an awful Wizards team 2 weeks before the season, and have the Hawks assemble semi-random talent, and all the sudden the Pacers are in danger of missing the playoffs. Draftkings had the Bulls 8 and the Pacers 9. Indy never gets any respect. The squad reminds me of the 2004 Pistons, in that the starting 5 is all-star or borderline all-star talent. Just without a true superstar.
Not to mention the Raptors and Celtics losing guys. I've said from the start that the 3 seed is more realistic than 9th. I think they finish right in that 4-5 range again, and really could be higher if they can stay healthy.
If I was running my Pels, I would send the Nets Lonzo Ball & JJ Redick for Caris LaVert & Taurean Prince. I don’t want to sign Ball to 20 million a year and someone probably will. JJ won’t be back next year. We need a good starting 2 and some wing defense Do what? Have you seen Joe Harris? He hits 3s
This span has basically put a nail in the argument/narrative that Andrew Wiggins was not that guy.
Lets go Pacers talk! Finally!

Jrue Holiday is not an upgrade ...The league has been saying this for last 5yrs for some reason....just a good piece.....not a needle mover
