I have their 2008 Album on CD. This is when I Discovered these guys when I was watching Second Chance Their Music Video on VH1 During the Summer of 2009 when I was 11 and in 6th Grade. That's when I had a Liking to Brent Anderson ever since I was Younger back in the Middle School Days. After all these Years just like alot of Lead Singers I always Admired I still look up to this Guy to this Very Day since he's 20 Years Older than me and I know he's in his 40's now and I'll be 27 this coming January. This is takes me back to the Summer of 2009 when I 1st Discovered Shinedown. Good thing we still had MTV and VH1 back in those Days and I would Watch them every Morning before I get to School.
They were awesome when I saw them with Soil in 2004 at the House of Blues in downtown Disney. Got to watch soundcheck and all that good shit. Had a great time. It was the last show of the tour.
His voice got stronger and stronger over the years. He has a voice like no other artist out there. I hope a lot of new rock artists out there get a lot of their influences by him and Shinedown. They will go down in history and hopefully come into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He just sang the National Anthem at the basketball game where Shaquille O'Neil retired his jersey just a few weeks ago. Amazing performance & he is a sweet guy met him multiple times. Check out his performance on RUclips.
The last 20+ years he has been my favorite voice and they are my favorite band! They put on an incredible show, are amazing to their fans, and are amazing people! They keep it interesting and I am still here for it!

If someone hasn't heard of it, him and Zach Myers did a spin off band called Smith & Myers with a lot of really really great covers and a couple new songs.
Their Smith & Myers LPs are amazing. Be sure to check out the original as well as the double LP from a few years ago where they did half covers and half original songs. I think you can find all of them on RUclips.
I love that Brent and Zach started that as a side project. The singles they write for it is a little different from Shinedown, but just as strong. Those four guys are so wildly talented individually but when they get together, there's nothing else like it!
Actually Atlas Falls was recorded for the record Amaryllis but it didn’t make the cut. So it’s off in the timeline. Other than that, Brent’s vocals are stellar and I can’t wait to see them again for the 11th time!!!
