wow it came out really nice! too small for all that wood though, make a foamie version and after you skin it with fiberglass take it to get a thick coat of rhino liner on it you will save 50% or more weight on the trailer. this would take me 2 years and it took you two months haha
You are a true talent...You should get top tier pay !!!!!!!!....you'd make a person think of something to have built and hire you.😊...you are AMAZING!! @@buildersblueprint
Dude! Really nice! I’m doing a build on an ironton 5x8 as well. Interesting technique with how you mounted the walls on the frame’s side rails like that. I might end up doing mine similar now. Learned something! You probably already thought this through way more than me but one thing to point out just in case. When I was doing research on pairing larger wheels on the axle, people were pointing out that spacers are dangerous for some reason. Something about it causing more pressure on the bolts. I don’t really get it, but I chickened out and bought a new axle that was wider off etrailer. Love the videos man, you’re killing it!
Really how far have you gotten on the build? The spacers didn’t seem to ruin much, but I will say that it is probably safer to just replace the axle or at least the wheel spindle.
@@buildersblueprint I'm probably half way through. Kinda stalled out right now because it's so cold and the adhesive i want to use for some of the wall panels needs to be above 45 degrees for 24 hours to cure. I wish I had thought the timing through more on that. I ended up welding 2ft on the end of the frame and moving the axle back a bit to make it a 5x10. Trying to make it sleep 3 people. my wife really wanted that classic curved teardrop profile which is a challenge to get right. anyway, watched the video again. Love how you capture all the important details in such a condensed amount of time. Great presentation. Your doors are so legit as well. I gotta up my game 😄
@ yeah the weather definitely sucks right now I’m building a tiny home and I’ve been on standby because of the weather. Feel free to check out part one and part two. I recommend you to buy the doors. They are quite challenging to build. But good luck on your build man. Keep me updated on how it goes. ✌️
