Wow so amazing, somewhere for our channel to explore someday!! Love those views 😍. Anndd..all that food looks good lol. Thanks for sharing! ~Renee and Kyle
Glad youve been enjoying the videos! This is year 2 rv vlogging for us, our cross Canada series last year was a great learning trip for vlogging and RVing haha. Cheers!😄🍁
That dish looked delicious Alysha. Those falls were crazy white. I wish I was there to hear the sound. Man everywhere you turn is a spectacular view. What a beautiful spot. Stay safe guys. Cheers!!!
One of my favourite drives. The scenery especially the glaciers have changed dramatically over the 50 plus years I have visited the area. The Columbia Icefields have changed so much.
Hi there Luke and Alysha, We missed the glass skywalk when we were there, so thanks for showing us that, and the great views of the Columbia Icefields and glacier. We did the SnoCoach ride though, and it was an unique experience to crunch the ice on the glacier. The waterfalls on the Icefields Parkway were great. Don't miss Lake Louise, Peyto and Bow Lakes on the way to Banff. Moraine Lake was our favourite!
Thanks Vijay! The Snocoach did sound cool, unfortunately they had a roll over recently though and it's closed down for investigation! Would love to experience it someday though. Banff in the next video! Take care😁🍁
Information correction. There is no free camping in a National Park. The Icefields Center RV camping is a self registering site. In 2021 it was $18.00 per night. No campfire or water. It is a great site .. because of the views.
Oh did they get it up and running again? Last times we had been through the cash box and everything was out of service but it makes sense they would want to get it fixed up. Still a great view though yup and a nice midway point through the drive. Take care and thanks for updating people!🍁
What a fantastic video . I was wondering when Alysha was cooking your meal what was she cooking on ??? Was it a conventional hot plate ? Interesting to find out what it is . It look awesome . Love the beautiful scenery. You two make it enjoyable to watch and interesting . Thank you very much for sharing this fantastic video . Be safe and be kind!!
Thank you! It's a Coleman portable butane stove. It has changeable butane cylinders and it sure is great for camping. We have a barbeque you can hook up to our propane in the RV but this way is just so much more minimal and less set up. Cheap and easy! Take care and thanks for watching 😁🍁
Yeah they look pretty cool hey. A little pricey in my opinion especially considering they don't come with a black tank, and for what you could park as a conventional trailer since you are already towing. Sure look near though!🙂🍁
A front row seat to a spectacular glacier, priceless! Love the waterfalls, too. Some amazing geology in this area for sure! The Jiffy Pop brought back memories...we used to make it over a fire on our camping trips when I was a kid and that was a looong time ago! Your videos always leave me smiling. 😊
Hey Lori! The Rockies really have it all hey. Growing up in the interior weve been around mountains a lot but they never get old. Jiffy pop is a classic, but we read on it to not cook over fire! Still turned out great though. Cheers 😁🍁
Love your videos and always look forward to the next one! I live in Ontario and have visited the Cdn Rockies many times. My first visit was during our honeymoon in 1980. Drive safe and have fun folks...... Brent
You guys always have some great shots!!! I love watching your adventures and Brandon and I are constantly adding places to our list from seeing your adventures!! Thanks for sharing and safe travels! ✌🏻Maggie and Brandon
Thanks Luke and Alysha, I feel like I’ve visited there with you fantastic coverage, we were there a few years ago and really enjoyed the visit, unfortunately we are still confined to the Atlantic provinces but we are hoping that next May we can be on the road in our motorhome for a summer of exploring the rest of Canada including Banff and Jasper.
Thanks for tuning in! Fingers crossed next year is more accommodating, the trip across Canada sure is a fun one to make. The views are great and just the act of doing it is fun in itself. Here's to hoping!😁🍁
Thanks for watching! It may be because we aren't uploading as frequently perhaps. If you click the bell button near subscribe it should turn it on to notify you whenever our channel posts though! Take care😁🍁
Right! Doing well, and it has been a change up not having as many uploads now hey. Once we get into next year's adventures we can ramp it up again just busy being get back home and settling in, and it isn't quite the same as traveling around full time haha. More to come though and will be sure to pet cat 😁🍁
Hi Luke when you do temperature where do you start. Here in the UK we have a strange system on tv. Hot temperature is in Farenhight freezing is 32 boiling is 212 .Cold is given in Centigrade 0 freezing 100 boiling. Just like to know how cold you are. Great videos I would like your lifestyle especially the camp fires.
Hi there! We're pretty flexible with temperature here. Generally the outdoor temp is reported in celsius, like on the weather app. Our RV thermostat displays in fahrenheit though so its always interchanging on us what we us haha. Cheers!😁🍁
hi guys... started watching ur channel just a month ago, am up to date wit dis season, half way thru season 1 (wher u guys hve just started heading back west)... i believe d drive in today's video has got to be d most scenic one, unless i come across something better in 2nd half of season 1 :-) just a small suggestion though, if u could insert 'episode nos.' in ur season's videos tht wld be gr8... tc
Hey there! That's great, happy to hear you're enjoying them that much! This drive was so beautiful hey. I really enjoyed the views a long the Cabot Trail as well but the mountains still may top it. Episode numbers could be a good addition good point! Anywho take care and thanks for watching 😁🍁
Hey Luke and Alysha....Wow the Icefields Parkway sure is spectacular with powerful waterfalls....Too bad there wasn't more sun...That glass walkway would really interest my Wife....not so much me cause fear of heights as I get older....Looking forward to videos of Banff....Anyway... good job on the video guys...from Hank and Pam from South Texas...(can't figure the difference between your temp. statements between Centigrade and Fahrenheit, but sounds COLD...You know us Americans!!!!LOL
Great video guys ! I am planning a RV roadtrip to Banff/Jasper this June . Did you have trouble parking your RV at all in any of the locations such as Athabasca falls, Sunwapta falls or do most places have good amount of parking .
Hey there! There was a good amount of parking at all the main ones, but a larger rig may be a bit trickier as some spots were more regular vehicle length! Safe travels 😁🍁
We didn't get to see too many as a lot of first come first servers were closed, but tunnel mountain in Banff is definitely worth it for the views and bus transit convenience (next video to come). The Wilcox campground on the Icefields drive also looked nice too! Wapiti in Jasper, especially the W loop on the river was nice but we didn't get to see the other ones in Jasper unfortunately. Thanks for watching and happy planning!😁🍁
Wow, just turned on the tv, brought up RUclips & your video was just starting. Beautiful Rockies. I think I would pass on the Sky Walk though! I hope you guys have the opportunity to rv travel your next summer too. Is that the plan?
Hey Sue! Yeah that Icefields Parkway drive is totally a must for seeing the Rockies. The Skywalk was a neat little experience too haha. We have some big plans for next year, and it will include RVing too yup! We'll be making a video eventually here on our 2021 plans after the Rocky Mountains is all caught up likely. Have a great day!😁🍁
Sort of, but between the amount we move around and we're usually set up somewhere in the forested parks when we are staying a few nights weve never bothered. Installed on the roof would be a nice addition though. Cheers 😃🍁
Wow so amazing, somewhere for our channel to explore someday!! Love those views 😍. Anndd..all that food looks good lol. Thanks for sharing! ~Renee and Kyle
I really liked the video love the camp fire and popcorn time, it never tastes the same at home on a stove, keep having fun ,enjoy life, 😊
Jiffy pop sure is a classic! Thanks for being with us Mildred 😁🍁

It’s even more impressive in the winter
One of my favourite drives. The scenery especially the glaciers have changed dramatically over the 50 plus years I have visited the area. The Columbia Icefields have changed so much.
Loved it here. All the emerald colored lakes and water as well are just beautiful. Certainly something for every nature enthusiast to appreciate! 😁🍁

Sort of, but between the amount we move around and we're usually set up somewhere in the forested parks when we are staying a few nights weve never bothered. Installed on the roof would be a nice addition though. Cheers 😃🍁
