      Thanks for your comment! I did not get the elk,but it was a good learning experience for me. I also ended up grabbing a Metcalf after that hunt lol. The Marshall is a BIG pack!

    I love my Marshall, it is massive! I ended up getting a pintler bag only as well and switch the frames for when I don’t need the huge Marshall that I use for backing in for prolonged periods. I picked up a bear tooth for my son, and gonna do another pintler bag only for him as well. Love the Marshall though

    What’s the width of top when you fully opened? 13:41 I’m trying to make a big dry bag to fit perfectly inside. I can’t find any dimensions on the website. Great review, thanks !

      It will expand about 16" in diameter. That's about the max I'd say. Thank you for the comment glad you like the video!

    My question is, how does it hold up after 2-years? Any tares? Any issues after taking it to the field over and over again?

      The mystery ranch packs are really durable! I've only taken this one pack on an elk hunt and honestly didn't spend much time with it but I have others back from mystery ranch and they're great. Thanks for the comments!

    That camo works well, your hands blend in with it.

    i was pretty much set on the kuiu pro 7000 but i think for the price point and this bag being more durable i may just give this a go instead.

      Hope it works for you! It is a big pack, almost too big lol. Thanks for the comments!

    Looks like you can use it as a rifle rest.

  • @ramondetta12

    do you think you could do a 10 day out of this including food and camp? or would you opt for something bigger like the kuiu 7800?

    • @PEO-402
      @PEO-402  3 года назад +1

      Oh I'm shure you could! It's the biggest one that M.R makes for hunting I believe. Counting ounces would be a must with any pack for that long. Thanks for the question!

      You’re looking at size difference of 20 liters given to the Kuiu. If you’re savvy in the backcountry and make your own water where you go, it won’t matter. But even with it being 20L less, I’d choose the MR over the Kuiu.

      @@blakebeverly84 I ended up getting the MR, packed 10 days of food and camp up the mountain on a sheep hunt no problem, still looks new lol. It was FULL FULL but fit everything I needed and carried awesome. No hotspots and felt comfortable
