- HoI4 "Historic" AI-Only timelapse of WW2 in which no nation is allowed to surrender. Instead, every war will be the last stand for nations involved. How will this affect the otherwise historic timeline?

Why is there always no chart about the Great East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere?
Because of its bloody name, I can't fit that long stretch of letters into either the graph or the table... yet... sorry about that
@@GameWatcher545 I mean, you can put GEACPS as an alternative since most of us viewers are curious on japan's statitstics
@@user-bz7iw1fe1s it isn't that straightforward, it takes the data from the game itself. But indeed it's time to resolve that, will look into it
@@GameWatcher545 then is it possible to have garrison manpower too? I want to see how much manpower axis bleed by having most of Europe Russia, France, Syria Iraq Iran India Egypt Africa etc. (since we can see the factories after taking those territories)
In casualties, there is garrison loss of manpower too then?
@@DarkSnake49542 sure will look into it, should be possible
Soviets after getting pushed back to the Urals and Tajikistan: "I didn't hear no bell."
Probably how it would've went IRL had the Germans had more success with Barbarossa. I'd be willing to bet Stalin would've made them push all the way to Vladivostok before surrendering.
Well when your enemy is hell bent on anihilating your country and people, surrender is kinda out of the question
@@miguelfreitas3816 That's why the Russians fought so hard, they knew what would happen if they did surrender
@@RoscoePro kinda like what happened in the civil war, each side fought to the the bitter end.
In this case when fighting a genocidal state the stakes are even higher.
@@RoscoePro the Soviet plan actually was to fight in Siberia if everything else fell

"No Surrender"

"jajaja France always surrender jajaja"
@@Doughboy_Gobbler23 I know that for most of their history France was very competent, though yk, it's a game about WW2, where they did indeed surrender
@@biharek7595 every nations in ww2 surrendered Germany, Belgium, Netherlands , Poland , Norway, what is your point?
@@x-a- france surrendered in like 1.5 months despite being a Great Power. Even the game makes France surrender-y.
@@reinatr4848 Do you know how much France suffered from WW1 and also the events that lead to WW2 + internal politics in France at the begining of the war ? you seem to be a 13yrs kid who only knows France surrendered because 2003 american propaganda.
According to historian Niall Ferguson, France is the most successful military power in history. The French participated in 50 of the 125 major European wars that have been fought since 1495; more than any other European state.
Go learn history before trying to talk about anything kid.
That 40K Dawn of War chant BGM by the end of the video makes morbid sense. The situation of the U.S.S.R by the middle of the video is pretty similar to that of the Imperium, fight not for glory but for simple survival against overwhelming odds.
Push Soviet troops to the Ural
-> Still lose GG
It's actually historically accurate for the Soviets. The only way to defeat the Soviets irl would have been if either Stalin was overthrown or if they pushed to Anadyr
If that happened IRL, stalin would've been overtrow, or pro german rebels would pop up.
I think more realistically the Soviets would never surrender, but also be completely harmless and basically just hang out in Asia, the Germans certainly had no way to cross the Urals
@jason 1234 Well, the only kind of rebel that i can imagine is pro german or independentist. Both not realistic considering the context
@jason 1234 For someone who wants to kill all slavs he sure had lots of slavic allies lmao.
Stalin would've probably died in Moscow, he stayed in Moscow for a moral boost 😳
Imagine the unbelievable suffering and death in this universe, especially the people of the Ussr. You'd likely fine cities of millions totally empty.
Stalin sitting in a shack in Siberia be like: Never Surrender!
Hahaha gold.
Just like US general in the red alert 2.

The Soviet resolve to never give in to fight to the last drop of blood you could say the true
NO STEP BACK
Japan always survives
and 7:20 It's a very good song...
Well done sir
I think this was a case of the allies AI recognising the Axis AI is less intelligent. Therefore they retook the Benelux and the Maginot fortified it and let the Axis AI repeatedly attack, thereby depleting their strength and supplies providing relief to the Comintern.
The Allies AI also didn't recognize anything though, it also just did random stuff
My favorite part?
Comitern - 69.4 mil casualties ;P
Italian casualties got counted as Comintern at the end 'cause they got puppeted by the Soviets in the peace deal.
Same with Hungarian and Bulgarian casualties.

The soviets would forever be immortalized as protectors of the east
And the Brits and yanks would be known for the valiant attempts to help and save Europe
The Great Trial but it's the Soviet Union getting pushed all the way to Siberia and Kazakhstan but still kick Hitler's ass to Berlin

It’s interesting how Britain kept choosing to land in Germany. Northern France was vastly unprotected in areas from armies being moved to the eastern front

2. Jam tf out to the music

Now imagine the supply line skirting Japanese borders from Vladivostok to Irkutsk and Tashkent, and a second line being the transiberian bringing supplies to the frontline on a single train line.Instead of Kursk we have the battles of Magnitogorsk and Ufa (maybe even Komi up there got some of its first action since forever)
The realistic version of the west Russian war In TNO lore
Best video so far👍
Did USSR go to scraping the barrel?
also romania joined the allies 3 times wth lmao
Looks like scrapping the barrel after losing its European side, however, after they regained the European side of the USSR, their manpower simply swelled to massive proportions.
@@TheOtakuPrince yea, makes sense when you have 10m manpower but also 29m casualties
at 60% or somethin like that resistance an uprising happens
Probably one of the more realistic games.
Not sure about that. I don't remember Japan conquering half of Asia.
@@MichaelDavis-mk4me I mean realistic in the terms of "An enemy army must physically enter a territory, rather than it magically turning to enemy side when a country capitulates." Especially when there is an entire friendly army. I had so many games where there was an entire Allied Army in France, when the Germans failed to conquer France in the early game, but a year goes by and *bam* the Germans capture Paris, and then you got 70 or more allied divisions encircled, because the territory behind them, where they probably had supply lines, headquarters, logistics and all that jazz, magically changes sides. And I think the surrender limit mechanic is one of the most stupid in the Game, and if the Germans conquer the European part of the USSR, Siberia shouldn't magically turn with a beautiful sign saying "Under new Management". Especially when it's the USSR under Stalin we're talking about. So yes, the Goddamn Germans have to walk to Vladivostok, and Goddamn Kamchatka if they want it. No magic involved. Sorry for the rant.
@@jankubiak324 They have to work for their territory, that they war'd for.

40% are soviets
And thats just soldiers.
i could easily see that number reaching 500m if civilians were counted
@@dmitriblyat8237 only 30m - soviets
How did you make the no surrender perk?
Is it possible to manually change the surrender limit of a country?
5:35 bruh, I bet Stalin was just about to sign a peace deal
More likely he will continue the fight. Even if it means fighting in the Siberian tundra.
In a war of annihilation like the eastern front, there would be no peace.
wait so is this a setting in the expert ai mod? or is it a separate one?
can someone do the calculations on how devastated population wise would be each country?
We are preparing civ casualties stat
soviets would be down to maybe 50 million and thats optimistic
How did you get the charts and how did you get to specatate ALL nations?
How does one do the charts?
Is there a 'strategic reason' to AI moving divisions so much? (too much attrition due to poor infra,
just a need to lose some supplies by moving around a lot of divisions because too much production (lol) , the need to always have div on every borders then sending them to the frontline instead of a border with peace ?)
Germany just dominated more than they do even in there good games they pushed dday out several times and the beat the soviets while out gunned
How did you get the ai to not surrender?
Everyone : Speaking about Russian comeback.

How do you make these
Why did France just wake up from the death in 6:28?
Resistance probably ?
An Intel operation to make partisan up rise?
Stalin would have fought all the way east if he had to
This video could be even more interesting if it was made together with the mod "Expert AI 4.0". The result could be completely different ...
Part 2 of this video when? Cause it seems like the end showed the Allies and Comintern fighting. Also... I sense the Allies will lose the war (cause of Japan) or possibly win it.
Sorry man but I really dont have the time to run every timelapse for 30 40+ hours, need the computer eh. We've had a war between allies and comintern just recently that went to 1981

Kept waiting for Japan to attack USSR and cause its collapse.
But they were satisfied with all of Asia.

So why in the base game can you not just retreat to the heals like this to win
Well you will capitulate if you did that

I've won, but at what cost?
germany should have invaded spain and take gibraltar when franco didnt join him ( im talking in the video not IRL )

How about if the Baltics joined the Axis?
Even if an entire ailian army attacks soviet union, it won't easy for them to across the Ural mountain.

It ended in 1956
can we just shout out to Iran they hold against the soviets and British at all sides and was WINNING well sort of for like 2 years
This should be called "Churchill Reich Mode"
It's such a shame how easily France can surrender in this game. In reality they just surrendered because they have lost like half of their army in an encirclement and then have been swept through. Like I've seen someone capitulate France as independent Equatorial Guinea
i think paradox are americans so that explains everything

ah yes the endsieg but delayed 10 years
9.06 (not linked) why does comintern suddenly succeed to retake all of its land and pushing back axis? Both armies were well entrenched, probably supplied too. Did comintern get a great new weapons or axis had too few div on that frontline? (since after that, Com get right to German border)
Notice they fell to 0 manpower at some point, and it took them a while to change conscription law. Once they did they started pushing Axis back.
@@GameWatcher545 I noticed it but at that point, it was a while ago and sov got 2M manpower.
Could it be Intel activated? Because suddenly, sov attack and succeed to push so far while there was no movement on that front. (nor in Iran or Finland)
There was allies naval invasion in western Europe but those were mostly contained. Axis still had enough armor, air, manpower but in few seconds, it lost the sov front.
(a black sea country (Romania?) up rise as allied country but it got eliminated too fast to matter)
@@DarkSnake49542 I think for most of the war the axis had numerical superiority on eastern front like there was ≈10mil(overall) against 2.5m but by the end it was 7.5m vs 4m and about half of 7.5m were in the west.
@@DarkSnake49542 could be a combination of things, and I'd excuse myself with that comment as I am not 100% sure x) I was looking at that situation as a manpower issue primarily. Could be wrong
@@DarkSnake49542 wish I put Equipment Deficit chart into it as that would be an added clue, but always worried to not cover the screen with too many graphs x)
