Actually, the topic is not Kaan; of course, Kaan is a beautiful plane and a 5th generation aircraft. What makes me the happiest is that Turkiye is producing its own aircraft. Kaan is just the beginning; tomorrow we won’t have to depend on anyone.

F35 has been serially manufactured many years now but it hasnt proved itself in battlefield yet. Many countries who own F35 avoid using in battlefield, including America. Meanwhile many F35 has been lost in training excercises without firing a shot at enmy. I beleive when the Turkish tfx Kaan becomes ready to be used in service, it wont lose a second firing at enemy. It will be used in combat without any delay. Turkish TFX Kaan is not made to be kept in garage to wipe the dust on it like F35 planes. When Turkish TFX Kaan proves itself in battlefield, that will be fatal for F35 plane's future.

Well, one aircraft actually is operational with multiple air forces. The other isn’t even operational with its home nation. Not really any comparison for the moment.
When the KAAN is actually operational then maybe we can compare. But for now, the KAAN is just theoretical in performance.
İ don't know where you got the numbers, but 1.000 pounds internal weapons load for KAAN? Come on. Even the AKINCI drone has a 3.000 pounds weapons load and we are talking about a JET PLANE which is 21 metres long (almost 6 metres longer than the F-35). Be serious.
Maybe KAAN is trying to go for speed over firepower, who knows? But Kaan can carry One 1K JDAM, One 2K JDAM, and 1-2 Air Air Missiles in the internal weapons bay, depending on the Mission's requirements.
@@TheMilitaryCuriosityOfficial i'm from Türkiye and according the TUSAŞ officials statements on tv, it will have either 1 large (as on the F-22) or two tandem weapon bays at the belly (like the SU-57) and 2 weapon bays on the sides for infrared missiles like the F-22 or the J-20.
Sorry but none of your numbers are matching with the TUSAŞ officials statements. They said that it will carry 6 Medium Range Air-to-air missiles only at the weapon bay at the belly. The wepon loadout at the side bays are not clear wether it's going to house a single or twin infrared missiles. İt will be capabale of carriying two SOM-J's at the same time in it's internal weapon bay. And that missile is a HELL BİG THİNG as i saw it at IDEF in Istanbul.

It remains to be seen to what extent Turkey will show capabilities in jamming and electronic equipment, starting with radar.
Turkish aviation industry may be new, and lags behind America's. But the simple fact that they have been able to create such an advance fighter Jet shows Turkey's potential as a major arms producer. This is only the first step and they can only go up from here.

Which one do you need? Almost everything except the American F110 engines and the British ejection seat, which we used temporarily. Everything is domestic, from mission-flight computers, software, avionics and AESA radars.

Kana had 2 engines while f35 had 1 that can do VTOL while kaan don’t do vtol plus big tail fins plus wide wings which is less payload for bombing while AA - AS mission still less than f35 which f35 had more space in and out and can do much payload for dropping bombs. Kaan is only 5th/6th gen but in reality might be only 3rd coz turkey don’t make jets at all . Saudi will have problems with USA soon and might get out of deals in weapons from USA , they might rely to China Russia downgrade quality
