      @@AngieHoldenI’m crating a playlist and you and Jennifer are my *Double-Take Dolls!* I have ADHD but I can hyper focus also , that’s why arts & crafts zen me out so much..! 💯
      I don’t know who said *Action is the Enemy of Thought* but I really want to make this a profitable business - I really am working from scratch- I know I need a sublimation: printer/ ink and paper for infused ink / bright colors, but I was also told that a laser printer was a necessity for heat transfer vinyl (5:23 YES M’AAM !)
      I’m looking at getting the explorer air 2. Which laptop and printer yet (s) would you recommend..? *Online Store*
      I want to make things as simple as iron -on decal stickers, up to photo mugs photo clocks, personalised swear jars pet accessories etc..! --9:31-- The sample idea is brilliant , I think it’s vital- I love the hat and mug press also. Omg it’s Endless.
      *Final Thing* Is it costly to copyright ©️ your quotes and designs?
      Much love ❤️

    I’ve been selling crafts for over 30 years and have been quite successful at it. I mostly make fabric covered photo albums and mostly wedding and baby. Done it all, craft shows, boutiques, online, etc. a big consideration too is space in your home. When you decide what to make to sell, how much space do you have to make the product, store supplies ( both product supplies as well as packaging supplies) and space to store the finished product. You don’t want to make large items if the total space your operating out of is say only a spare bedroom. Also, how messy is the product? If your working in a room like a spare bedroom, you don’t want to be making messy things like wreaths, dried flowers or stuff that needs sanding, painting, etc or involve a lot of noise or obnoxious fumes. Finally, be prepared to shift what you make to what the public wants if you repeatedly get requests to do custom orders for something your not making but fits into the realm of what you do, so keep tight control over how much supplies you buy until your hitting the mark with your customers. You don’t want to end up with a lot of supplies you can’t use thats taking up valuable space and is money wasted. Save packing supplies that come with your purchases and reuse them, it’s free. The postal service also has free shipping boxes available if your product will fit in them.

      Hi Carrie, My daughter is an artist and does watercolor pet portraits. We started selling at craft fairs, farmer's markets, and dog shows about a year ago and it has been a wonderful journey of learning. Two pieces of advice I'd like to share. One, check out the other venders to see their setups. You can learn a lot from others who have been doing craft fairs for a while. Second, check out Hans Meier 3 part video series on RUclips. He teaches the ins and outs of selling at craft fairs with many helpful hints. He is a long time woodworker and has gained a lot of knowledge throughout the years. I learned much from watching this video that I have applied to my daughter and my booth and it has really helped us in sales. Good luck

    I am doing my “first” craft show next month, and one thing I’ve learned, my area in small town Tennessee, folks don’t like to pay much for items. I was a macrame/weaving artist long before I started with “cricut” items, and I sold well in S. Florida, but those items never sold well here in TN, so, I’m hoping the cricut made items sell better! I appreciate all the pointers and knowledge I’ve learned from you. ❤

    Hi Angie, I always love how informative and thorough you are with your videos. I converted an Epson Eco Tank ET-3760. I recently updated the firmware and am now having sublimation color issues. I uninstalled the printer and re-installed it and finally got the printer to work. I am still having color issues. Do you have any suggestions? Very sound advice.. Always do some market research before hand.. What you absolutely love making may not have a market. I would say if you're not an artist or are not designing your own artwork also factor in the cost of buying graphics.. No to screenshotting just anything off the internet. A subscription to a good graphics' site which includes a commercial licence with your purchases will repay you in quality, variety and is less hassle than fighting a copyright battle!! Also quality quality quality.. No inky blobs or glue spots.. Certainly if the product just has a small flaw you can sell as seconds but that's not what you want to be known for!!!

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 года назад +1
