- This almond cake really satisfies. Dessert or breakfast or after-school snack. I made most of the recipe hole thing in my little Cusinart. Easy recipe that my family asks for again and again. From David Tanis book “ A Platter of Figs”. Let me know if you make it!!
1 cup almonds unblanched
1/2 cup sugar, plus 1/4 for topping
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/8 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1/2 whole milk
4 tablespoon melted butter
2 pounds pitted plums, sliced
