Seriously did you just say that if you see lots of blood to drink lots of tea or coffee to flush your bladder???? Surely with these being full of caffeine which irritates the bladder they should be avoided and stick to water.
My father has 2 nephrostomy bags from his kidneys. He pulled on one of the tubes and now there is blood showing up in the tube for the past few hours and comes and goes with movement. Is this something to worry about and to bring him to emerge? He doesn't feel any pain either
Dr. Steven Brandes baby, I self cath, usually 3 times a day with no problem. Today I could not get the cath to even enter the prostate. What can I do? My meds are Tamsulosin, Bethanehol and Finasteride.
hi doc notice me my mom sometimes got white thing coming out & blood sometimes also usually we do flushing urine still coming out alot but in the diaper also got urine stain, what is the main problem doc in mom situation any advice i will appreciate it thanks 😊 🙏
Ten to twelve experiences with these. When it is removed it feels like being stung by a thousand bees. I hate everyone that refused to sedate me each time one was removed and I will chose death next time one is needed. I hate them, I hate them. I hate them.

How about you want to change the bag but the tubing not coming out, it has bonded to the rubber part?

My dad just got one. He’s 85 and it’s like hell.
What about if the catheter isn’t resting on the floor of bladder because it is too far up? Would that also cause urine to go around the catheter too?
