Best YouTuve video on this subject for civilians/patients: thank you.

Very useful and practical advice. BUT, what is desperately needed is a video explaining how to connect and route the rigging (tubing and bags) to a catheter coming from the tip of your male member -- and. addressing what to do (how to get maximum 'safe' freedom of movement) when the external part of the catheter tube is relatively short.

Very helpful video. My husband had a catheter put on yesterday. Do not like the straps. What brand is the catheter you are using? Looks much better.

If you feel you have to go, can you go like with a flip flow?

Not work very well, create lots of paint ….because it installed to cloce to insert. It very convinian for provider and producer.not for patients. If the bac installed below the knee it huge difference..(own experience)

Question what if the bag connection slips out when you tug it? Or wh ed n you try to connect it it starts to come out by itself ?

I find connecting the catheter to the connection works well when you push it on with your thumb and index finger. Don’t pinch the catheter over the plastic connection, but rather push the catheter only. (Not the hard plastic your sliding it onto)
This only works when the catheter is almost too small to fit over the hard plastic nozzle of the connection.
Also, try moistening the hard plastic nozzle with water to lubricate the connection as you push.

Sorry, I would not want to walk around with a tube in my urethra and a urine bag on my leg.
