For starters, the "crown" is a (dead) "entity" (corporation) of self-appointed rulers who actually have no jurisdiction over man as living soul. Go figure!! The rights of man under common law is above any entity e.g. "crowns" etc as an entity has no rights only a living soul has so you do not need a certificate or permission from anyone to "proof" your rights.....you receive these inalienable rights (for life) at birth but as living soul not as the strawman (dead man walking) the system turns you into.... Ok but how would I go about using that to obtain land, besides trying to squat the government will always stop us and jail us. It was initially granted to the soldiers who fought in the British war against France where the creation of the British North American Act of 1867 came into play. Those soldiers were compensated by the British Crown with parcels of land in Canada with them becoming the first settlers where the "Crown" gave up their rights, title and interest to those parcels of land while maintaining certain "reservations" such as gold and silver. This land is defined as "PRIVATE" land. The Federal Government that was created through the BNA Act was responsible for managing the balance of the Crown Land who, in turn, passed that responsibility down to the various provinces. The provinces then created townships or municipalities for the purpose of providing a "public service" to the inhabitants who lived within the geographical boundary of these townships. The public service would include providing and maintaining roads for travel, schools, churches, parks and recreational facilities, libraries, hospitals, garbage dumps, social housing and so on. All of these type of facilities are situated on land belonging to the government (or "public property"). The payment of property taxes goes towards the public services we receive from the local municipal government. Now when you read your different Legislative Acts (i.e. Municipal Act, Public Lands Act, Ministry of Infrastructure Act) and so on you will notice where it states in all of these Acts that if any of these government entities want to take control of the "private property", they have to acquire it either through purchase, lease or expropriation or enter into some kind of a written agreement with the PRIVATE PROPERTY OWNER where it would then be REGISTERED on the Title to the Property in the Land Registry Office, such as an "easement" for example. Even the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources & Forestry had posted up until 2014 on their own website under the heading of "Sales and Issuance of Letters Patent ...the Ministry of Natural Resources doe not retain future options for the land and does not control use". Today, many municipalities are overstepping their authority when they attempt to regulate or put restrictions on private property without the consent of the property owner. The problem is the majority of private property owners were never made aware of Crown Land Patent Grants and how they are a very important document that all property owners should have in their possession; and for those who are in the process of purchasing property, they should be requesting the Crown Land Patent Grant along with the complete Title Search going back to the date of that Crown Land Patent Grant that goes with that property. My family (Edwards) was given crown land in Manhatten.... I should look into it however; in 1955 my family hired an investigator and a lawyer to prove our lineage and ownership to the land. Once the documents were found and my family reconvened in New York to prove ownership, both lawyer and investigator had come up permanently missing along with the original documents.
If there's anyone who continues to exact a fee or tax for the property, then the Canadian version of a Land Patent is flawed. You would still be a feudal tenant, and it would NOT be an ALLODIAL Title. I hope your taxes are ZERO! Also, the term "Crown" in British COMMERCIAL Law does NOT mean the one on the Queen's Head !!! I have a small lot of land in Massachusetts, 6k sqft, my great grandfather passed down to me, he bout it in 1955 and they changed the zoning they won’t let me put a tiny home on it. Can we still get the land patents up here on the east coast as we are the 13 colonies ? The blm said they don’t have land patents here

The ‘Crown’ can only claim what it reserves to itself in the contract. What the crown gives the crown can take away. What you really want is a title without the word Crown anywhere except of course its exclusion from claim on title.
You can do your own title and patent yourself but only as a private living man or woman and through the various steps in no land registration and service on them of recinding of former legal title as title is no longer valid and now thee is social private title only

This wasn’t even disclosed in the listing, as it usually ALWAYS is, along with what the annual fee is, and what the lease contract entails. That being said, because of the plandemic and agenda moving forward at full speed ahead, I’m wondering if it’s actually of my benefit to be on crown land, as opposed to the “false private ownership?” I need to make a decision asap, and my brain is full and the amount of research this needs to understand fully, is too much for me to endure after everything at the moment...PLS HELP!?

Where on earth can I buy a couple of aces of land for $120 in this century? Actually I want land for free to be self sufficient grow my own food, have a couple of chickens, a cow or two. Build my home. No land tax. No mortgage.

And if I wanna build a deck or shed after having this patent, the city can't come and threaten me with fines and court etc? Or if we do go to court I just pull out this patent? Yes, just because you have a mortgage will make no difference. You are claiming jurisdiction over your property. You will not need a building permit....it will be a process because the City will try to issue a stop work order. Give them a copy of your Crown Land Patent with a letter (Notice) that you are claiming jurisdiction and also submit a Fee Schedule for Court Visits, Motions, Orders etc. Make it worth your while to go to Court ( I charge $1000 per Court Appearance for example) but it will not make it to court, the City will huff and puff but stand your ground. They cannot dismiss a Crown Land Patent because the same Crown brought the Government into being with the same laws so to deny your claim is to invalidate their own claim to authority..... Be well.
Hi hd , I'm in Michigan. I recently received a certified copy of the original land patent to my property. It doesn't have a fancy gold seal affixed. The seal on it is raised and it has a certificate # on it with all the language on it, I paid $2.00 to the D L M dept of land management. is it suppose to read Crown?
You need building permit and forced inspections unlesss you live in a unorganized township in Ontario, btw BC does not seem to have this so it’s all gone commi or liberal or China owns everything out there.

Property Taxes become a Fee for Service issue and can be negotiated. The big problem is that everyone you encounter at lower gov levels are just clueless about all this stuff and through that ignorance presents a huge hurdle!
if you own land anywhere in western canada, or any other location in canada, buy yourself field cameras, that begin with motion detectors, with lots of lights, bad people don't like bright lights, their ally is the dark, and you won't need a gun, anytime strangers approach your property, and lights turn on with cameras rolling, they wont hang around long! In My Opinion they can talk till they are blue in the face, but the home owners cameras, capture the truth! of what takes place also place cameras on the front door, and window, so any lies about being shot, are questionable!
I would start searching the Catholic Church records. I found out that I am part Metis from Church records. My Great, Great, Great Grandfather was on St Josephs Island and like many British troops married a native woman and had a child. In the US, you do not pay property taxes on "truly owned land", but you also are excluded from public services, including emergency services. However, as a *true* private property owner you can contract your own arrangements for services and utilities by such companies/organizations, with utilities being established as a human right, especially water, you shouldn't be denied. That said, you should be experienced in, or bring an experienced negotiator for the best rates. The only restrictions being restrictions placed upon the parties you contract who are still under regulations. Although, these restrictions are usually liberal or even non-existent, considering Land Patents have been omitted from public education for many decades now... No need to regulate something most people don't know about. For some patents though, the US reserves certain rights, such as for natural resources (iron, gold, etc) or for local infrastructure, such as roadways. The latter can be challenged and has been in the past by doubting the "absolute necessity" of a roadway "needing" to exist on your property. I've seen many places where the roads strangely divert anywhere from a few feet to several yards, only to return later down the road, as the roadway was specifically avoiding "true private property".

@@g-forcepicker2613 BC does have an UOT just north of Smithers. Basically everything. North East of the highway is UOT.
In matters of the crown vs the crown the court has no jurisdiction.

Property Taxes become a Fee for Service issue and can be negotiated. The big problem is that everyone you encounter at lower gov levels are just clueless about all this stuff and through that ignorance presents a huge hurdle!

if you own land anywhere in western canada, or any other location in canada, buy yourself field cameras, that begin with motion detectors, with lots of lights, bad people don't like bright lights, their ally is the dark, and you won't need a gun, anytime strangers approach your property, and lights turn on with cameras rolling, they wont hang around long! In My Opinion they can talk till they are blue in the face, but the home owners cameras, capture the truth! of what takes place also place cameras on the front door, and window, so any lies about being shot, are questionable!

My Great, Great, Great Grandfather was on St Josephs Island and like many British troops married a native woman and had a child. In the US, you do not pay property taxes on "truly owned land", but you also are excluded from public services, including emergency services. However, as a *true* private property owner you can contract your own arrangements for services and utilities by such companies/organizations, with utilities being established as a human right, especially water, you shouldn't be denied. That said, you should be experienced in, or bring an experienced negotiator for the best rates. The only restrictions being restrictions placed upon the parties you contract who are still under regulations. Although, these restrictions are usually liberal or even non-existent, considering Land Patents have been omitted from public education for many decades now... No need to regulate something most people don't know about.
For some patents though, the US reserves certain rights, such as for natural resources (iron, gold, etc) or for local infrastructure, such as roadways. The latter can be challenged and has been in the past by doubting the "absolute necessity" of a roadway "needing" to exist on your property. I've seen many places where the roads strangely divert anywhere from a few feet to several yards, only to return later down the road, as the roadway was specifically avoiding "true private property".
