15:33 Game changer for me. It does feel way, waay more natural to play low string down and high up, but i was forcing myself to always strum all six of them.

@@first_fret I knew mistake 3 that was corrected early on luckily, 4 is still passed my level (not picking yet) but nice to know. My main lessons was the first for my overall sound since im soooo guilty of being too literal with the tab instruction too much, and it improves the sound dramatically by muting for rock songs. The second tip was great for the speed of my learning to be consciously thinking if this is a shape/chord I know before I over complicate something simple, really thanks alot man, dramatically helps me

brilliant stuff Andrew..I have been mucking around with guitars for 50yrs, and still cant play..Had music teachers, read music, but never really cracked playing more than reading sheet music and a simple song.....is it just practise practise practise, or do you have to be musically minded..

Try learning and playing at least 20 simple songs from start to finish. This will drastically improve your overall playing and musicality

I learn classical guitar, we rely on score but when learning rock songs I stick with my ear and hear.
