I have a friend who not only works at Sweetwater but is a killer guitarist who played in a Pink Floyd tribute band called Pink Droyd. Yes, talking about YOU Mike! After you watch a Pink Droyd concert you feel as if you have seen the real deal they're that good. I think there's some RUclips vids of them. But the last guitar I bought from Sweetwater required only a minor tuning and it was perfectly setup and intonated. I bought it on a Wednesday and it showed up on my doorstep Friday morning. Magic

Im pleased with my progress as a beginner you helped out a good deal. It’s coming up on the end of my first month and I’m playing 12 bar blues 3 chord songs and I can do the first half of the iconic Eddie Van Halen eruption tapping.. I appreciate all your help in my full on beginner stages

Its all fret numbers & string numbers with this guy, which is dumb, no real guitar player ever does or says what he does bc there is a much easier way! He is really teaching nothing! I urge everyone to please learn the correct ways & learn the things i first listed bc it is very important to become a good all around player & its a lot easier & faster.

For everyone on here complaining about Lithium being wrong, learn how keys and octaves work before you complain. Except for the first chord being an octave higher (no choice without tuning the guitar down) he played it in the EXACT same key as the Nevermind recording. Play along with it if you think I'm wrong.

No, you can really get the same sound out of all electric guitars mostly. Just when people have an arsenal of guitars, they like to use the same one the originator did.

what amps do you recommend that are versatile for sound and have substance? My son is just starting, I am used to having a stack and I use my computer DAW a lot. Is there a Mesa, Boss or Marshall you recommend for mostly metal sounds?
