As a cosmetology graduate (waiting for test date) these videos are truly appreciated! I have a few family members who want balayage hair but they simply don't explain it very well when I was in school. So huge thank you for this video!

I do a lot of foiliages so i Will have to try that horseshoe sectioning, very smart to get it even on both sides. And beautiful endresults as always 😍👏🏻

Great video! I’m not a beginner stylist and still have this approach towards my foliages. I get to mentor someone and this is how I teach it as well. The results are always proportionate. I had a guest yesterday and she absolutely loved it! I’d like to know how long it takes you to foil these and what is a rough estimate of what you should be charging. For example balayages for me can run anywhere from $350- $450 depending on the density. Usually they average 4hours but can range from 3-6 hours, again depending on the amount of hair and how the hair lightens.

I may just have to make a pilgrimage to Canada to have you work your magic on my hair. ❤

I know your goal isn't to teach DIYers. But I've used your videos to get my friend from black box dye ends, brown mids, and natural roots to an even level 9 blonde with no breakage.
There really isn't a stylist around us that can do things like this. The stylists here have completely botched my sister and my friends hair multiple times. I have a pretty sizable client list for an at home, untrained, hair cutter/colorer 🙈 about to do it again for my sister since she went back to a stylist and wasn't happy with the results. Will be binge watching you videos again over the next couple weeks

(This comment isn’t meant to come across as judgmental or harmful in any way whatsoever, just a stylist looking out for another stylist!!)
I want to say that I notice in the video you’re bending down to apply color and I’ve actually noticed myself doing it too (it’s normal!) i have worked really hard lately to make sure I’m bringing the chair up so that my client is as my level so my back isn’t bent the entire appointment. I have noticed a HUGE difference in my pain level at the end of the day and my overall quality of even just basic life has gotten better since I’ve been doing this! I love your content and again please don’t feel like I’m trying to pick on you I just want to help if I can! ❤️

Oh totally! My back hurts sometimes and I don’t realize how much bending I’m doing! I use the pump in the chair a lot but sometimes I forget when I’m filming

That’s what follow up appointments r for. My clients usually come back to see me within 8 to 10 weeks precisely to re-tone and condition the hair.
