I often wondered what happened to all those old 40 Ft.Cattle cars I often see in the old western movies that were transferred by small steam engines. Today I found out. There actively used in CSX territory!

    Nice layout and video.
Just an observation from an actual Railroader, a placarded/hazmat car would NOT be up against the power unless they were just in the yard and not going over any public grade crossings. One coverup/buffer car between the power and the hazmat car you were using there when empty and 5 coverups for loads.

Having said that, not clear what hazardous material Soybean Processors would be shipping. Vegetable oil is usually classed as nonhazardous.

You backed in with 2 box cars, hooked up to 3 box cars and pulled out with 4 box cars what happened to the 1 box car?

LOL I was waiting to see who would notice! The seaboard system boxcar.... I found it on Ebay for cheap and during filming I found out why it was so cheap. The coupler box was glued to the underframe. it snapped off....Didnt want to stop filming to fix it seeing the hidden damage to the underframe and why it was glued on. Long story short, it cant be fixed again.

I enjoy watching trains & of course the models to. These are 💯 realistic. This club knows how to run trains very well . 👍🛤️
