Hey Guys! We hope you liked the walk around of our Jimny and hopefully it will answer your questions of what we have on it and in it and should you be interested in any of the products we used they are all, literally all of them in the description. We thought we would also mention that our favourite mapping software to use on our phone is of course Google Maps itself, Viewranger and Wikiloc are great for off roading. If you have any more questions, leave a comment or message us on Instagram!! Have a good day!
Love the Pull out table, cracking rear boot build. Well done. Love the decisions you made. Especially removing the 27kg rack. unless you really need the modular stuff from Front Runner it makes no sense to me. They look awesome but load bars are the right decision for how you use it imho. Look forward to more videos in the new year (and some camping together 🥳🍻)
Thank you!😀 100% agree, we did love the look of the rack and tent but driving with it and going off road was no fun!! Moving it all to a trailer will make driving the Jimny a lot more fun!🙂 Can't wait to meet up again and show you trailer!😉
@@StreetsandTracks Like the look especially the wheel rims, looking at something similar for Badger as my girlfriend calls our white Jimny!! l spent two nights sleeping in the back of the Jimny with a labrador and two pugs for company! (not good as the pugs snore!!!!)
I also got the full rack but just use the load bars to mount the awning. The quality of both your vids (Geordie Jimny and Last Seen Exploring) has been great. Well done both. Great to see you getting out. In these times, very inspirational.
Thank you guys!😀 The moment good ol' Boris lets us all go camping again we shall finally show the trailer in a video!😆 Same to you guys, explore 2021 to the max!
Had been waiting for this video for a while! Could you do an in depth video for your sound system? Really interested in seeing the tweeters and sub woofers!
We wanted to make sure that we are happy with the current set up before posting a walk around as the Jimny had gone through a few different set-ups. lastseenexploring.co.uk/first-modification-carried-out-on-the-suzuki-jimny/ - try that link, it'll be updated soon with a more in-depth write up about the sounds system as that too went through a lot of set-ups until we were happy! Thanks for watching and stay tuned for an updated write up on the sound system 🙂
@@patricioelosua5886 As promised, we have put together a new blog about the audio system, if you want to have a read, here is the link - lastseenexploring.co.uk/entire-sound-system-upgrade-in-our-suzuki-jimny-jb74-inc-audio-sample/
well done! by adding the little extra details you have made the base white colour pop. Did you not also add the speakers behind the back panels, the wiring is already there, it just needs the mounting kit and some speakers.
Thank you!😀 We didn't bother with adding speakers in the back because of all the stuff we carry and put against the sides so there was no need as they wouldn't be very effective. Look out soon for an in-depth blog post about our audio system in our website 🙂
Im not sure if it is actually stated anywhere whether or no the Old Man Emu lift kit allows for more carrying capacity? Though i wouldn’t want to overload the Jimny as it doesn’t have the most powerful engine 😬
Thank you! The wind deflectors are pretty straight forward to fit, takes a bit of bending and manipulating as they are a perfect tight fit. The badge was tinted with headlight tint, due it being transparent but with a slight tint it gives the badge the unique look 🙂
From South Africa. Magic video guys. Great tips. Just on the suspension thing. I have the 2020 Jimny. I am just so pissed that the whole shock set up is so sub standard on it. Mine sways so bad with just three people in it on the highway. (Dangerously). I feel this should be sorted by Suzuki. One shouldn’t have to pay for a new setup. Really unhappy about that.
Yes I do recommend doing the suspension first! So we of course went for the Old Man Emu kit as its amazing value for money. At first I was in two minds if I could tell much difference but after a while I did realise the Jimny handles better on twisty roads, it doesn't roll as much which makes it much more fun! It is the only modification that I have never thought 'why did I even do that' where as there are many things I have stood back and thought 'why did I bother' haha
Great looking Jimny 👌 I have a black SZ5 with roof bars and one Thule cycle carrier . However I’m keen to have a spare wheel two bike carrier . Do you know if this is possible and indeed where could I source one ? Keep up with the good content 👍
Thank you! I am pretty sure you can get them as I have seen a couple of Jimny online with bike carriers that fit on the spare wheel, not too sure where you could get one from though. Just be careful adding extra weight further out, the further out you add weight the more stress you will put not the spare wheel mount.
Hello! 👋🏻 No we don’t carry any extra fuel, we can get around 200-250 miles out of a full tank of fuel, we always make sure to have more than 3/4 of fuel in the tank before we set off on a trip. The UK is pretty small so it’s never much of a worry regarding fuel. For a longer trip around Europe in the future we may carry spare on the trailer if we feel like we need to 🙂
Oh yes, we do love the Rigid lights!😀 The audio is so annoying, we even had the wind protecter on the microphone but didn't realise how bad the wind actually was! Hopefully next time we will have it sorted 🙂 Thanks for stopping by again 😀
Love the videos guys! Just subscribed. How to you find the large tyres? I've got a manual and want to put 235s on it but concerned about impact on gearing.
Thank you!😀 Without any extra weight added to the Jimny it drives really well, in fact personally think it drives better. You may notice when off roading that low range is a little too quick, its not very good at crawling. Also the added weight will wear your wheel bearings out so thats not so good. Before careful with fitting larger tyres without a lift as you will rub your tyres somewhere in the wheel arch 👍🏼

You guys are so lovely. The mods you've made are all very sensible. Love your North Wales vids too. We'll done.

Really amazing👍thank y from morocco for sharing. Jimny is my dream car.... 🙏🙏
Thank you!😀
We had the older 2003 model before this one, great car, really recommend it as a stepping stone towards this newer model 🙂
Great walk around video guys, well explained 👍We look forward to seeing how you set up the trailer too. Wishing you many adventures in 2021 😊

Nice one love the wee Jimmy. Love the lights will me getting myself some .how did you fix that cargo net up on the ceiling. Jonah from Scotland. OUT
Thank you 😀
Check out this link, this is the guide i followed to make the cargo net: geordiejimny.com/diy-roof-cargo-net-storage
Wow! Your Jimny is great! Hello from Ukraine)
Thank you! Hello!😀
One of the most striking accessory is the stickers . No affiliate link provided though 😕
Are you talking about the black stripes over the entire Jimny?🙂 if so it’s literally pin stripe tape off amazon, nothing special at all!😆
@@StreetsandTracks they're beautiful 🤩 and a wonderful idea 💛

Congrats for your absolutely dope rig! Hope you’ll get around northern italy once for a trip together, so we can have our jimnys meet each other 😂
Thank you!😀 Oh 100% we can't wait to get ourselves over to Europe and if we are in Italy we shall meet up, love where you take your Jimny!
Love the set up! Well thought out , how was it fitting the wind deflectors? What did you use to tint the Suzuki badge?

Great build!! What are the improvements you feel by changing the suspension? I have heard that is the first mod every Jimny owner must do.

The spotlights restrict airflow .I did the same noticed increased engine bay temperature

What size iPad is that ?
Great video.
Question.
Do you have a box to stand on to put the bikes on the roof?
Hello Mick 👋🏻 😜
I can reach without a box to stand on as long as the jimny is on flat ground 🙂
Great video, have the new wheels affected the gearing? Did they noticably lower the revs at highway speed? Thanks
