I had a full blown Kundalini awakening in my late twenties as a White English man in Manchester UK. I became Hindu that night by telepathy from God! Literally!

@@Rajkumari_Sundari I felt the energy raise through from root chakra. I literally felt the entire thousand petalled lotus unravel at my crown and was seeing tremendous flash images beyond words for around 2 hours in my minds eye. I was simply sat upright normally on a wooden chair in my front room in Manchester England.
I felt a potent stir of passionate energy at first which became so powerful that it actually repulsed me for a moment.. Then the negative sensation of sheer arousal horror turned to thunderous bliss. The ‘nectar of the Gods’ ambrosia secreted from my Brain down into my Throat and when I swallowed the sweet taste it seemed to go into my Heart. It opened fully.
I felt an overwhelming bliss beyond supernatural. I was literally chanting “aums” on total autopilot! I KNEW YOGA in my mind and body! Having never even practiced it before. I first heard the name “Kundalini” around seven years before that fateful night.
It was the most phenomenal, bizarre, intense, incredible, terrifying, beautiful and beyond imaginable experience I’ve ever had and I am 1000% certain that it was a full blown Kundalini awakening. The flash images were firing like rapid explosions and fireworks 💥 literally for hours. All the visions were ‘eastern’, Hindu, Buddhist, Aztec, Golden, Diamonds, Alien machinery, Ancient Egyptian…
It all ended when she came back down through my Crown and I had this ‘full body release’ and there was shockwaves that look like geometric electronic magnetic orbs blasting through my Aura. I was shaking and trembling like crazy but I felt REBORN. Like an Alien rebirth.
The question the ‘energy’ asked me before the nectar release was “are you willing to die here with me now”? I answered “yes” but in my mind, not out loud. I shocked myself with my own response and sincerity of my response and that it what triggered the release of Nectar in such large amounts.
Many of the words I wrote here I found out later after getting massively into Yoga, Hinduism and Spirituality. To look at me I just look like a bald white blue eyes English man with a northern City accent.
Nobody would ever believe that I was into these things or that I had the experience. I consider myself ‘Hindu’ and asked my Mother to have me cremated in a Hindu ceremony if I was to pass before her. I don’t think she understood me as she is not Religious at all herself.
So yeah… I plan on now working my way up via Yoga and Pranayama Breathing, and chanting. But slowly and not getting ahead of myself. It was so profound and I absolutely promise you all.. It was the real deal. Not some thing that I imagined or willed to happen. It was the most powerful sacred and beyond words experience I could ever attempt to comprehend or describe.
But I’ve tried my best! I hope this helps in some way! (Ps: I happened by coincidence to have a large Hindu Temple on the road just less than one mile away from my home)…
I attended once but got shy.. I will try again soon. I cannot convince anybody who hasn’t experienced the phenomenon, but I promise you with all my Heart and Soul. It happened, it’s REAL and I now believe that Yoga in its entirety is the ultimate path for a Human and I plan on dedicating my life to Yoga and union with others worldwide who want to be on the same path.
I am currently learning Sanskrit and Hindi, plan on travelling to India and the Philippines later this year!
      Take care everyone ✌🏼

I find it so painfully ironic that a nation like India who taught the West, 'We are not this body', to be now so obsessed with it. The West looks to India for life's meaning, while India tries to imitate the West to find meaning, but ends up looking superficial and crass 😢

No irony at all, the body is our temple as reflected in Ayurveda. Also, there's plenty of Vedic/Hindu spirituality particularly in the South.

It is alive in India, that's the difference, rightly said. Reading a book does not create much of a difference, only thoughts process becomes pure for the time being.
Being in presence of a awakened master/ person, transmission of energy and further cultivation of the being through various practices and steadily reduces thoughts per second. True joy can be achieved only in the state of thoughtless awareness.
