It's good that you are thinking of the destination you should be trying to reach. But you got the wrong lesson that you should stop following Brahmacharya till you know the destination. Brahmacharya is to be followed by every human being who wants to be called 'civilized.' That is what HG Gauranga Prabhuji was explaining in the first part of the video with the shloka from Srimad Bhagavatam. Brahmacharya has so many mental, physical, and spiritual benefits, so many health bonuses etc. Following it simply places one in a higher level of happiness and a better standard of life. Not following it and destroying that vital energy invites a lot of trouble in the seeker's life inasmuch that they are not even able to seek properly, meaning make any spiritual progress or follow any spiritual path properly. When i was pregnant with my son, after having a couple of miscarriages, i happen to pick up Srimad Bhagavatham, till today im unable to answer if i came across the book or was it the other way round. After birth, i noticed when he was about 2 years, an affinity for butter, where ever i hide it, he would climb up smear it all over his face by licking every bit of it. This reminded me of what i read when he was within me. The reality that the lufe growing within reflects all we do. He's 19 now, when i send him on errands, he still buys small pkts of butter to eat while studying.
