Your steering linkages have been upgraded to the 4th Gen T style linkages I think thats why it wouldn’t work for you when you put them on the top thanks for sharing.
That makes sense! Few years back I had to take it in for a couple recalls and that was one of them. I totally forgot about that. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
First thanks for the video. Instructions were terrible. Should have watched the whole thing first. Had the same problem with the shocks and was like um i guess ill go on the bottom of the bracket? Thanks for making me feel not crazy.
Steering box brace was the best improvement to my 05 3500 cant believe they let it leave the factory without a brace holding the front of the frame together have a dual steering also it has close to 500000 and handles alot better then it did when I bought it new
Steering box brace is a must have for a dodge in my opinion. Without it the steering box will flex all day long till wear and tear or death wobble sneaks up on you. First step buy a dodge and second step build it into a truck.
The style you're installing claims to be for 3rd gen, however would this still work for 2nd gen? All the mounts look the same, just in case though, I've already upgrade to t steering from the y and also did 3rd gen trackbar. I would just like to make sure. I'd rather have these brackets and hooking to the tie rod ends with u bolts...
@@isolateddieselperformance3261 yeah I see you have a single bolt and mine has 2 bolt holes... I'm sure I could fab the ends up. Do you prefer this centered style or would you have preferred the outer kit?
Can you give me the part number for the fox kit you went with.I did the T steering upgrade on my 98 1500 and am haveing a heck of a time figuring out a steering damper kit for it..I would be thankful for any help.I faint seem to order anything for the 1500 because any brackets I get are for the smaller diameter y steering
Make sure you look at the entire comment because I put one link for the bracket and another one for the shock. @@isolateddieselperformance3261 alright just wondered. I have a 6” lift with 35s and my walks the road quite a bit so I’m hoping the dual stabilizer helps
@@isolateddieselperformance3261 we when it comes to Do it yourself videos, most people don't fumble around and guess Whether it's gonna work or not. Unless you change the title to, ( Hey watch me try to figure this out), My Apologies if I offended, I did watch it all
You didn't offend me at all. I respect your right to your opinion. At least you're respectful. If I don't show the fumble/guess work then people will comment saying you done it wrong or the instructions don't say that and so on. 95% of the time I know what I'm doing but sometimes you get a product that you're not familiar with the design and how they intended for it to work on your application. Better to be honest with the viewer in my opinion. Thanks for the feedback tho. Will consider in the future.
Video is just fine. Curious to know how you liked the end result. My 2014 3500 just did the death wobble on a bridge so I’m looking to upgrade track bar and stabilizer.

It will work on your steering but not sure about bolting up to your axle.

I got rid of it and went with the single 2.0 fox. I like it better

@@isolateddieselperformance3261 no I don’t have one but I have been looking at them
Get one! That will be more your problem than steering shocks.

Not yet cause I'm still throwing parts at this thing. Hope to find time to edit 2 vids this week so I can post them

It worked good but I went back to a single shock because I upgraded to synergy steering.
