So many people. It’s extraordinary that so many are drawn to pools of warm water next to a power station in a barren landscape. It’s impressive that it has been kept functioning with such enormous logistical and safety challenges to deal with
Thanks for the update. We love your commentary. We are amazed at how much is being spent on roads and walls! Yet to give a break on your mortgage interest....not gonna happen.
Great job! Thank you very much! Lava must have crossed that road numerous times and now i know why they go to so much trouble inorder to keep the Blue Lagoon in operation. Prices will likely rise due to the cost of all that maintenance. I was told it is pretty costly now for what you receive and not really worth the cost. Better to go to one of the other hot springs in Iceland.
I agree with you about Karma...God is watching us all! I also agree that the karma doesn't happen straight away, I have noticed this. This is a very interesting video Roman. Thank you for showing us. 🙂 By the way, we who are living in England are being ripped off too! It's not good.
Yes, I've heard how pricey it is over there. That's too bad, but I guess it's a well known tourist attraction. I didn't realize that's a road they're working on- nor did I know how hard it is for buses to get to the Lagoon with narrow roads. What I fear, is the next eruption. Is it just going to go right over all they've done.. again? :(
I couldn't agree more!! How incredibly rude that they don't understand that it's single file when you are passing other people. It's amazing how few people have manners anymore! I'm glad i'm not the only one that noticed that!
the sad truth is the uplift is increasing faster since the eruption has stopped, the eruption may come at the end of July or first of August. They are not building a road, but raising the berm another 20 meters in height, and have even removed the roads digging big lava retention pond for the next time the berm is breached.
The resourcefulness of the Icelandic people is incredible. Thanks Roman for your footage. It takes us there.
Another day, another new road. What an incredible wall!
Construction workers are heroes,imo.
Thank you- makes it very real.
Cheers Roman, just shows how much work all the plant crews have done.
They have been the real heroes in this eruption.!❤❤❤👏👏👏💎💎👍👍🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks Roman for keeping us informed 🎉
If this was the UK , they would still be discussing about having a meeting to discuss the building of the berms. The roads would never be rebuilt.
Thanks Roman

Great work.
That heras fencing was top notch.
Best wire money can buy.

Blue Lagoon is a jewel worth saving!!
Sulfur smell Roman
There being gassed
It depends, if the powerplant wasn't there, would there be a natural hot water spring in it's place?
@@craiganthony6532 Nope.
It employs 1000+
Just viewing your video bring back memories of my visit in 2018, it was a great holiday.
Hey Roman, might you show us all of the other hot springs in Iceland and tell us all about those? Each one would make an awesome video.

Thank you.❤
I believe Blue lagoon is the biggest employer in Iceland if I'm not mistaken
ขอบคุณภาพสวย❤❤❤
Holy crap! People don't even know how to walk... All the more amazing that humans built these berms so quickly, efficiently and effectively!

The camera is closer then you realize. There is plenty of room.

I agree. Possible eruption mid to late August, imo.
Amazing!!! 😮
That's what sandwiches cost across the street at my local restaurant.
Question. Is all the rock formation surrounding the walk Lava rocks.
🙏🏼That all stay safe. Thay have done a phenomenal job
Will be there mid October.
Thanks for showing the prices of pre-packaged sandwich, I think I'll give it a miss
What's the sulfur content like in that geothermal water? I suspect the Blue Lagoon may smell like a giant fart.
With the volcanic activity near the Blue Lagoon, has its water temperature remained stable?
Never get a variable rate mortgage. Never.
Even though the Blue Lagoon is man made,it still gets it's hate from Geothermal which comes from theagma underneath it.
Is that a natural gully you walked on at the beginning of the vid
Landrise is at an elevated rate currently….eruption may happen sooner than you think….
So the Blue Lagoon needs to be kept open, otherwise people will lose much of their pensions. That's a big gamble to take.
Pan-Skandinavian country - high cost of living, it goes without saying. And I doubt Iceland is anywhere near self-sufficient in food.
Praying for safety. Money talks..

The inflation in America is out of hand.
Nonsense. What's out of hand is the number of trolls posting blatant lies.
It's 3.3% in the USA. In the UK in 1975 it was 25.87 % - that was out of hand.
The rest of the world has been worse for years. . Try getting your news from many sources.
It’s 3%. What the heck are you talking about, @randywise5241? It was 21% during Jimmy Carter’s last year in office.
@@auldfouter8661Ah! I just got some of the Yes Minister jokes.
That's stupid.
Makes me short of breath
Cough cough
Thanks Roman
