Great interview and performance! I’ve been Ceú’s fan for about 8 years when I first heard Malemolencia. I don’t completely understand the lyrics but I like that she mixes different rythms such as reggae, electronic beats and Samba. She’s always reinventing her music and her voice is so divine.
Try also the last album of a singer called "Pitty". The album's name is "Matriz" there a lot of song genres mixes in there. The first albuns of this singer are pretty much Rock'n roll but this last one is tottally mixed. I'd also recommend a song called "tangerina" that I will only let the link below. I’m a Brazilian (huge fan of Brazilian music) living in the US for a while now and I’m more than amazed with this interview! Darek was a brilliant interviewer and Céu was able to share her thoughts of the current situation in Brazil perfectly! Thank you for this! We have a lot of Brazilian artists just political as American (and British) artists and I’m so proud of this KEXP edition and my home country music!!!
Watching this amazing interview I realise how I'm pround to be born in Brasil. Thanks Darek for this interview and opportunity to show the world a little bit of Brazilian culture and one of the newest and greatest musical talents like Ceu. I really enjoyed every minute spent with the both of you!
