Is it just me or when he tellss you something I rush to grab a pencil and some paper. I end up watching the video about 6 times. Lol.
Which cloth is this in vdo ?
why use a jersy for this and not a woven fabric.
is that your actual fashion fabric? why did you put marks on it?
Sir plz can you give me some ideas making dress
What scissors are those?
Nick I want a reply. I wanna question that u mark on the right side of the fabric. How does it doesn't shows after stitching? Plz help
This is just a muslin mock up, not the final dress. He won't mark the outside on the final version
queenofdreams1991 the one which he is pleating he said is the outer bodice. The main one. Didn't he?
Maleeha XoXo It's the outer drape, but it's not the final drape. He said in the previous video that this wasn't the fabric he was using for the final dress
Nick thank you, well explained. I don't have mannequin. How can I drape without mannequin
I agree with Karen. You cant really fit a dress accurately, or perfor, any accurate draping - pattern drafting without a mannequin which is adjusted to represent the exact size of the wearer. You must have a mannequin. I have 3 as I do quite a lot of sewing - a child's a Miss size and a plus size, all adjustable. Makes fitting much easier as you really cant expect a person to stand still for so long as you drape and you cant stick pins into them as you drape the fabric on them. I know the mannequins are a little expensive but they are so worth the investment.

Thank you, this is very helpful. However, I wish I could show you my design so you could create a tutorial for that. You'r a Star
when he cut the muslin, did he add a seam allowens? or no?
Am also concerned about that too.... He hardly talks about seam allowance
he did...he talks about that in the first video
Yes he did. He said he always add a seam allowance.
haahhaahahaahh he is so funny and smart
Sir how to send pictures to you
What about stiching part? ? ?
Por favor, subtítulos en español 🧑🏻
🌷🌹🥀🙏🙏🌷🌹🌹
what kind of muslin is that please helpp huhu i wanna make my own prom dress too due next week huaaa
Thenesia Wijaya he mentions it in the first video of the series
Liv Bjorholm i heard he said muslin fabric but at the second video i cant really hear *blablabla* muslin
it’s jersey, but as Karen1Nicola says, he says it very clearly. So it shouldn’t be difficult understanding it if you watch the first video
I followed one by one but it become loose
Hi Nick sir please tell me how to make a fairy gown
Plz tell me some dresses drafting books name available in india
I went to fit in new york for 3years doing pattern making about 25 years ago never make anything of that training only make clothes for myself i took easy way by using store bought pattern you have certainly open my eyes again im gonna watch all your videos so far i like what i see. love you
Hi, you are my new best friend... Love you are so so so so so amazing... Please don't forget that. 😘
hiii
A
that looks pretty hanging in the front- don't cut it! 😳😳
Just needs to speak a tad bit slower and this would be a perfect video.
i like your methods, but can you show less draping, more sewing and more Technics? please.
Having a good pattern makes sewing a lot easier. I think that's why he's concentrating on draping because as it is a "basic" it's a lot harder than sewing. Has more to do with thinking and can't be learnt by practise so as sewing. Once having a good done pattern, in my opinion, sewing is only 10%of all work.
@@presticaja true.. having a good pattern is almost 80% done for me too
