    Saw your video and decided to buy some. Now I have those same light bulbs at home in all lamps. They are really nice and have various colors and effects.

    Hi, thanks for the video. How can I know if my current wifi is 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz? It seems the Wi-Fi name cannot tell.

      Most routers come by default with both 2.4g and 5g on the same network/name. Go into your routers settings. (I'm not sure what you have) and you will be able to separate them from there. Try that and it should work!

    My red colors and purple colors are not working on my bulb, idk if it is broken or if I have to reset it...

      There are three different colors inside the bulb they light up and mix to create colors. It sounds like your red light is burnt out.

    Hi! Quick question, when the app turns the light "off" is the wall light switch still on?

    • @ReviewsAndHowTos
      @ReviewsAndHowTos  Год назад +2

      Yes. The light switch needs to remain in the on position for them to work. You can also toggle the switch to use it as a "traditional" light.

    • @richbeckman470
      @richbeckman470 3 месяца назад +1

      How long can you leave the wall switch off? If it is off too long, do you have to reset the bulb?

    • @ReviewsAndHowTos
      @ReviewsAndHowTos  2 месяца назад +1

      @@richbeckman470 Nope! You can actually completely remove them and reinstall, and they'll retain everything.

    Idk why but my light won’t connect to my WiFi i just bought one of these lights from target today and it won’t connect to my WiFi did you have any problems like this when you first got ur bulbs???

    • @ReviewsAndHowTos
      @ReviewsAndHowTos  6 месяцев назад

      They're only compatible with 2.4ghz wifi. So, ensure that you're trying to connect to 2.4ghz and don't only have 5ghz enabled on your wireless router. Also, there are some of these lights that are only Bluetooth.

      It does have a setting for warm white. However, you can use the slider in the app to set it to any shade of white you want - from "cool white" (bluish) to "sunset" (orangish). I set mine a hair below warm white, which is a good match to the old incandescent bulbs and quite relaxing.

      They're pretty cool! You don't realize how much you'll love them until after having them. It's so convenient being able to turn off/on lights. Especially if you get snuggled in bed and realize a light is still on!

      Interesting! 🤔 I can't remember if mine did or not. Many devices are only including a QR code on the box, to scan. But, hey, that's why you have me! Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions, let me know. My entire house is fully automated.

      @@ReviewsAndHowTos Yes thanks to your info I just got the bulb installed in my porch light. Incidently we can take a picture of these bulbs doing the effects. They have a camera in them so we can see the special effects from our phones when it's happening no matter where we are.
