Im not sure if you found it yet but inside the app you can select the little white arrow on the right side after you connect your lights with the app. click the arrow and there should be three circles, from left to right there is the multi color option and then the effects and then settings ,

Hi, these light strips will always need to be connected to a power source via a cord; they do not have batteries.

The damn thing won't connect

Unplug the lights for a while. It only took about a day for me, plug them back in and try using the on and off switch. If this works try and connect them again. It should work.

These strips suck. The normal lights nice and bright but the app and light won’t connect to wifi so if you want a colorful strip l tight this ain’t it
