LL means Leather inside, not gore-tex (GTX). One wider option is the SF (straight fit, like Meindl's comfort fit), another is SF extra, which means straight fit plus bunion last. Thats the widest version.
I have them too, they're great! Haven't had any problems with them whatsoever (thus far). My feet are also a bit wider and these shoes are perfect for them. So if your feet have the same shape, it's definitely a great purchase!
