I am in this band, and I do have two classes back to back on opposite sides of the school…in this video, we didn’t even cover the length of the school, there is still a separate campus, and walking (running) the distance from the end of a campus to the end of another campus is tough in 6 minutes lol

@@shotyew1435 I haven’t gotten a tardy yet, so I’m managing it pretty well surprisingly! However, it is quite annoying to have to run from my first hour to second hour all the way across the school when I’m half awake in the morning
my high school used to be right next to the elementary before they built a separate elementary in the 90s so now there’s 3-4 buildings of classes that you have to go outside to go into another part, this isn’t including the band room building, and robotics building
If anyone comes around here, just know the 23-24 school year is gonna be REAL nice for CHS Drumline. Lot’s of interesting surprises, just sayin. Get ready! (If anyone asks how I have such knowledge, I may or may not be in the Drumline. Who knows?)
ay I just realized uh the cymbals have parts they're just not written on the sheets I sent you, they play the accents of the snare part for most of it (up beat hi hats at the beginning, siz-sucks on "and 4" for when the snares play the main groove) and then play siz sucks on the unison bass hits during the quad solo section, then hi hats with the snare and quad hits on two and four, then finish with more siz sucks on the "and 4s." for the last two bars have them drop out of the first bar (visual opportunity?) and then hit all of the notes on the last clave bar. I noticed your cymbal line was kinda chilling with their cymbals but there's a part for them. If this doesn't make sense I can write it on actual sheets
Thanks for the tip! I noticed in your video that the cymbals played but I was too lazy to figure out what was happening. I will definitely talk to the people who are playing cymbals next year to get that part figured out and maybe we'll add our own flair so we're not copying ya'll.
3 schools in my area use it, my alumni high school (I’m an Assistant Director for band now) is the only high school in the area to have its own fight song that doesn’t rip off of an existing college fight song
