  • Qín ná 擒拿 are joint locks used in martial arts to control or immobilize an opponent, by causing severe pain to muscles, ligaments, tendons, and fascia. In this video, a method is shown of how to practice escaping from such locks as they are being applied. Practice can be done by oneself or with a partner. The practice methods shown for escaping from locks to fingers can be extended to escaping from locks to other bodily parts and even attacks in general.
