This is a great tutorial. I started growing a goatee 3 months ago after a colleague at work recommended me to grow facial hair. 90% of the guys at work have facial hair so why not join the club. Still learning grooming techniques but I'm happy with the results.
I'm 51 and fairly new to the goatee. It's pretty much white, but I don't care about that since I've earned every one of those grays. Thanks for the tips though, helps to see it being trimmed as it looks nasty when it gets too long!
Regarding the teeth whitening strips, when my facial hair was black my teeth appeared white. Now that my facial hair has turned a bright white, my teeth appear yellow. My teeth haven't yellowed over time. However it appears that they have due to my chompers being juxtaposed alongside my bright white mustache/goatee. Therefore I have found myself using whitening strips more frequently lately so as to lessen the contrast between teeth and facial hair.
I'm glad I have your channel bc I don't have time to grow a beard like George. I like the goatee on myself and soon I'll have a bald head! I may make a video of it as well for my channel. For now I'm just letting it go and grow.

love the goatee styles that all I can do is grow a goatee I can't grow my side out to grow full beard but I having a little problem I can't grow a full goatee either but I can get the chin facial hair I can grow some what of a mustache in middle of the top lip won't connect so it didn't look like a full goatee and I do want a full goatee but I have problems doing the Trimming thing I don't want to set in wait in barber shops to cut my hair I just shave my head and I just got to learn how to trim better but I will catch on just got to practice just like the old days I don't call old people old anymore I call them the wise generation and I love your goatee style man when I learn your style in Trimming my goatee when it all connects together that going to be my new goatee styles dude think you for showing us young men how to trim a goatee styles thank you for the good advice tip for me bye and God bless you and your family

Hey Tony, I'm a bit late to the party. I don't have as much facial hair on my chin as you do, would you recommend still doing it without the guard on in this case? I tried it, but honestly feel like it's easier to get it nicely at the same lenght with the guard. Quite new to grooming. Cheers!
