I learned this song when I was in 8th or 9th grade on my guitar. I’m 34 now and pregnant with my little boy. Maybe I’ll show him how to play this one day
When I heard this song, I imagine a group of sailor men saying their goodbyes to their families, as they have to embark on a fishing mission so they can save their town and not perish trying, and as the song progresses you can see how they prepare before the storm, full of laughter and sad eyes, remembering the people they left behind and as one of them saves his wife's picture, they endure their fight against the elements, capturing all kinds of fishes and obviously getting hurt by the cold rebel sea, and once the song is reaching the end I can see the ship returning to the harbor on a quiet night, but with a group of drunk men looking at the ship as they take the last drop of their whiskey... man, what a scene!
This is the song that showed me what instrumental rock/metal could be. Obviously there’s a lot of groups further expanding the genre these days, but this was the first time I heard something That sounded “progressive” as an instrumental. Huge inspiration here.
Such a heavy video part, it needed a heavy riff, so good, get's you so pumped ... Arto won skater of the year for this part & is was heavy on another level, some pro's quit after it dropped
Wasn't this that other band that Darren and Jesse was in? Remember hearing this on that eS video. Nothing like skating back in the early 2000s... were gettin old these days!!
i used to skate to this from when i first started skating in 2000 untill after i got sponsored and forced to stop in late 2010. now i'm 30, fat, pussy doesn't come at you in a literal tidal wave and can barely tre flip. what a looser. i used to be cool once *cries in corner*

Which pros quit ?
Golden era of skating ❤
This song is so sick
I remember this from 7th grade... fuck, I'm old.
such a good jam.
Almost sounds like a blood mountain/crack the Skye era mastodon song 10 years earlier.
had to take out my ''Good'' headphones
😂😂🔥🔥🙌🙌
Good headphones, bad headphones, it will always be a solid song/recording!!!

Tom Savage Yeah this was originally a Foreign Objects song.
No Foreign Objects released Test It Out (their version of Testing) in 2004. CHY's testing was on the second issue of CKY - Volume 2 released in 02

Arto Saari.
fuck yeah, man.
This sounds like Rush.
Did Andy Schrock leave you a lil curious about this song?
FinallFaith why?
2:53-2:59 🖤
I've always felt riff had a strong Van Halen vibe.
Derek Martinez It totally does!!
@@derekmartinez7134 since you mentioned it, this does make me think of “Ain’t Talkin bout Love”
Fkn rad song
Should be in a car drift game
Better with the vocals imo
the only good song this band ever did
98 quite bitter beings is a classic
Bilb Ono close yet far, Shippensburg, flesh into gear... they had a few decent jams...
A better place, disengage the simulator, plastic plan, shock and terror, lost in a contraption
Locust FGC they have good songs besides this one
IDR was in my CD player constantly in high school
Arto Saari
