. Mayberry got a lot of data about Martha´s life while in Lucifer´s Ring; likely including about her "hobbies" (murder, satanism & cannibalism), possibly from one of her victims. She likely deduced that Martha would soon "spawn" as a sinner just like her & that she would eventually gravitate towards the "1930´s neighborhood" (populated exclusively by cannibals), were she would be able to locate & meet her eventually.
I’ve always thought hell would have a level of displacement so not everyone just appears at the same area in hell and cause they weren’t together when they died they spawned somewhere else

There is a theory Martha's cheating is due to her being the families 'honey trap', luring victims to their home. Hook up with them a once or twice at their place, then get them home and butcher them. Hence why the ginger was going to town on her in her house

Not to mention Martha being a manipulator by nature turning emotions against a enemy is typical. Mayberry has nobody in he'll she is more connected to than Martha. Also they Martha family are in their dream right now probably out creating ...adding to mayhem. I really hope they don’t just shrug this ship off, and we get more of it like Sallie Mae. Also it’s MAYBE possible that the kids and the dad are in Heaven, because Heaven to me seems to be biased in who it chooses, but also.. the scene where the dad says, “It’s a universal remote, I got it for the kids.” And him showing genuine affection towards his kids makes me think that MAYBE he got into Heaven like Sir P. Who sacrificed himself to save his friends despite everything else he’s done. But that’s just a theory.
Considering the most we've seen of Sallie Mae in the show itself after her debut with a whopping minute of screentime was her getting segregated off to the unimportant shorts that have no impact on the actual story of Helluva Boss, I wouldn't say she's drowning in screen time either.

Honestly, I think that's a much better question to ask than the one about Martha's family. We saw them genuinely repent *before* they died, so there really is a chance they were cleansed and went to Heaven in forms reflecting what they repented of.
Meanwhile, we see no narrative indication of Mr. Mayberry repenting

Umm it's not, the official trailer for Hazbin reveal the center Pentagram City is so small and surrounded by a Ring of Spikes, Pentious makes it clear the Pentagram is the city and it's not even as big as one thinks, there's not even any Forests which is a shame because I pictured Al owned one but the official reveal of none killed any creative ideas, we don't have anything else.

I just wanna point out how absolutely fire Mayberry's demon design is, I didn't really notice it in the first episode. Simple, striking, elegant. Pretty much a Tiefling, which I highly appreciate.
I can 100% imagine the family all living with Mayberry. The kids get a second mom, or maybe they just see her as like the fun new adult in their lives, and I can definitely imagine Ralphie either joining the ladies, or getting off watching them

I feel like Miss Homewrecker (I'm not gonna try with the names) and her hubby found each other in Hell, realized that their vows were "Til Death Do Us Part," and decded who was gonna take the kids. Amicable split.
I would love a conversation between Stolas and Martha, relating over how they found new love, and they don't know how to present this new person to the children of their previous marriage. Particularly when the kids already view the new person (Blitz and Mayberry) as the ones responsible for tearing apart their old lives.
@@jiado6893 Stolas and Martha bonding would be even more wild than the ship, and yet it would be a neat way to address the Loona and Octavia situation of Blitzo and Stolas if they ever get serious. Granted, that elephant is like, the seventh in a long line of things that need to be addressed and sorted before Stolas and Blitzo can even consider working as a healthy relationship, but it is something that would come up eventually, and it would be awkward. As I said in a previous comment thread, does Stolas even know Blitzo has a daughter, or would he be just as surprised to realize Octavia might have a step sister?

What I DO wonder though, is if Octavia would be confused about Blitz, an Imp, being Loona's dad. Demonstrating how her upper-crust rearing makes her a bit oblivious to how classist/racist that might be. At the very least, she would be confused Loona kicked her dad in the crotch that one time.

Even though I can understand why some people disapprove of this ship, I for one am hoping we see more of these two in future episodes! I mean it would definitely be interesting to hear their story and what lead to them hooking up off screen, Because it shows that even after they die IMP's former clients and victims still have a story to tell in their afterlives.

When I first saw those two in the new episode apology tour I was like this is gonna raise a lot of questions. No so many questions.
I watched this ep with my friend and when that scene showed up I just screamed I KNEW IT I FING KNEW IT so loudly that her parents had to come upstairs so check on us
Crazy crackpot idea: The kids & the husband ARE in heaven; the idea being that what lands you in heaven/hell in this universe isn't how you lived your life, but rather the LAST thing you did in your life. So b/c Mayberry's last act was a murder/suicide, she landed in hell; and b/c the husband & kids' last act was one of repentance due to the 2nd chance Moxxie gave them, they landed in heaven.
I theorize it's less to do with final actions than with the state of your inner heart at the time of death. This still explains both Mayberry and Martha's old family, but it also explains the old rich guy from the episode the CHERUBS were introduced in. He didn't die doing anything evil, and he probably hadn't had the energy to do anything evil after his health declined, but he was still a greedy, ruthless person at heart.

Loo Loo Land still being in ruins and dead agents still being scattered around the room where I.M.P. killed them didn't make sense either, but the scenes were funny.

That they no longer have an obligation to be together doesn't mean they wouldn't want to. Flaws and all, they were clearly a happy family that cared for each other and I don't think dying and going to hell changed that.

Okay, there's actually another possibility that no one has talked about here... and that's the idea that the family is still alive.
HERE ME OUT.
Keep in mind that they were aware that Moxxie had called the cops on them. And while we see the house get blown up, we don't hear any dialogue aside from one line from the cops.
So for all we know, in the time it took Moxxie to call the cops and head back to the portal, the rest of the family could have grabbed just the essentials and booked it before they showed up and the cops were just extremely trigger happy.
Yes, we do see what's left of the teddy bear gets flung at Moxxie, but none of their actual remains. So we could just assumed the little girl dropped while fleeing.
In short, it's possible that only the mother died while the rest of her family is just laying low, that's my two cents on the matter.

Me and a friend agreed that the Husband seemed more interested in the kids and so he probably took the kids if he isn't around.
And it could be that they agreed to split amicably, he obviously wasn't an abusive/possessive husband.

I like how this show basically implies Mayberry's husband made it to heaven.

I think more shows should include these insane fan realities in the background of episodes. Not focusing too much on it but sprinkling just enough to excite the community
Not if it's really stupid and ruins important aspects of the series.
It still takes away so much pointential mayberry would've had as a character, she's sinner who is a good person just more justyfiably grouchy, in contrast to the more selfish and downthrown individuals in Hazbin hotel, with no longer being fueled by spite or as much she now is sort of more lifeless than she was.
Though thats more that one as helluva boss it about the buisness, so her developed should small details.
Basically I despise bad writing as it can completely taint things, fanships or fan realities should only be included if they're good ideas.
Like they do good job adding concepts. Like one I do agree would work amazing for hazbin hotels humor and themes is Sinner Khight paladins of the holy order, who work like Charlie just way more brutally convicing.
That idea works with the world building and adds to the show, being so good I ask why Vivzie didn't think of it(theres alot she didn't think about).
Compared to this dissapointment, it's mainly due chemstry wise makes no sense, makes previous information go to waste and just ruins both characters as a result.
It doesn't feel like fitting Irony, it feels like your validing from certain flawed fan's flawed ideas.

The possibilty of Martha X Mayberry becoming a thing was not to be expected but expected non the less. Also as going of the tier list ships you did, I have to say this.
Given what we know so far up to now with Stolas X Blitzo it could just be possibilty that those 2 might not end back up together with him complicated and and how f up they are, there is that small(very small) possibilty of the Loona X Octavia ship to happened given how much they have in common and related to each other.

When i first saw martha and mayberry it took me a second to realize who it was but when martha spoke it clicked
I like the relationship. But there are more problems lore wise. Mainly, how did Mayberry find out about the “Martha’s a hero.” Bit. Like I could understand that lore wise people who die in the same place might go to hell in similar locations, and by process of elimination figured out that she was alive. But how did she figure out that Martha was a “hero.” Hell has very *very* little connection with the outside plains, other than the yearly heaven meeting, now twice yearly. Also how did Blitzø manage to track down every last person they killed?

My headcanon is based on where in the timeline hazbin hotel occurs in comparison to Helluva Boss as the kids and husband could have been with the cannibals defending the hotel against the angels at the end of Hazbin season 1
I was definitely not expecting to see Martha and Mrs Mayberry living in the same apartment, heck I didn't think they would be roommates or even a couple after everything that happened in Murder Family. Impressive stuff!😮
Ya open marriage makes sense and never crossed my mind until said. I could see the situation being that they invite Mayberry over to kill her, find out they can't, so talking realizing eventually screwing. She never wanted the whole family dead the police were just extra trigger happy so I bet everyone laughs it off as they really could just continue with their lives as if nothing had happened.
For future series look into with Shipping Ghost and Molly McGee (if want episodic) and WAKFU (if want serial).

Ralphy should be smart enough to know thst his family is in danger so the best thing would be to fake his family's death. we didn’t see a body for any of the other three and Helluva boss has no problem seeing kids get murdered so they could just still be alive and i hiding which leaves Martha aline in hell wit ms mayberry.

My honest guess is that it’s a shared custody situation, and that they realized they only held onto each other because no one else matched their interest

I think it is more likely Mayberry sought Martha out. It is basic human psychology that people who feel wronged will continue to further victimize themselves in their own head in a self-destructive loop to justify their own actions in getting revenge to the point that when the revenge finally happens it often isn't satisfactory. However unlike most times in which revenge is permanent, they are in Hell so Mayberry could confront Martha with what she did. Whether violence, conflict or conversation happened next we'll probably will never know without a dedicated short but we can see the end result.
I agree with your take on Miss Mayberry! After the events of episode 1, I can imagine Mayberry looking for Martha, smugly assuming that Martha must be so miserable now that she’s in hell. Only to find that Martha is thriving and having the time of her afterlife. This deeply angers Mayberry, because this was not supposed to happen. SHE, the victim of her husband’s affair with Martha, should be the winner in all this, not Martha, the cheating, lying mistress.
