I LOVE that Jared calls his inlaws "mom and dad". I did too! My inlaw kids call us by our first names and that's great but there is something special about "mom and dad" from your inlaw kids. They will be amazing missionaries and we can't wait to go ourselves. Don't blink because 2 years will fly by and you will all be together again!

It really made me tear up when you guys had to say goodbye. It made me think about how I would feel if I couldn't see my grandmother for two years. I don't see her often enough, and the plane ride is only 50 minutes. Seeing things like this make you appreciate your family even more. She lives in New Orleans and we live in Houston. My mom is going over there tomorrow, and ever since I found out, I have called her every day, basically campaigning to have her come back with my mom so we can spend time together. Family time is so precious, and should never be taken for granted.

The sad part about the 8 passengers not being there is poor Olivia has nobody to hang out with her age. Yes she has Emma but sometimes you just want somebody your own age and the adults are to old.
