The rocks you saw are all volcanics. I think you mentioned Andesite Peak or so, and andesite is a type of volcanic rock. Also the funny dark outcrop you saw by the trail seems to be a remain of maybe a pyroclastic flow, I would need more footage to make sure 🤓 This is indeed a beautiful area and very interesting geologically speaking! Thanks for sharing 👍💟
I believe the small structure were outhouses . The higher one and the raised front door on hut are to accommodate for the snow levels. . The rock is volcanic . It is a magical place . ❤️ Thank you for sharing this beautiful day❤️🇨🇦

My pleasure. Thanks for the info. I just learned something. 👍
Lovely section my friend 👏👏
It gets bad after this. Everything burned in the Dixie fires in 19'
Finally some mild terrain, what a relief!
The hut was nice. I’m glad to see you are doing better and feeling better. Keep pushing! You got this!
Thanks! Will do!
This was a very interesting section. That was the nicest campsite so far, tucked away in some trees. The tunnels under I-80 were amazing.
That camping spot right outside of town was a nice one.
Ya it was perfect. Cheers!

Makes sense. The snow is probably very deep in winter. Thanks
Found your channel through Roadrunner. She is farther north on the PCT. Your gradual, laid back approach & many views are well appreciated.
Welcome. Glad you're enjoying the content.
The hut was full of mice when I was there it would have brought back memories of the AT
I just wanted to see inside but it was all locked up. I went up past the next big climb to camp that night
