I took acid one time in my life. I took this hippie gal I was dating back in about 1070. We went to the drive in to see Midnight Cowboy. We get parked and she pulls this acid out of her purse and we split it. The entire movie had different colored spider webs shooting off the screen. When I got home later that night and got in bed. I had a big poster of a drag strip funny car that just went through the quarter mile and had two parachutes behind it. I looked at that poster and the parachutes were spinning around and I could see the cars suspension moving. Never did acid again.

A friend of mine *thinks* he saw SCTV from the beginning, but he didn't even remember Harold Ramis as Station Manager Moe Green. The first year didn't get as wide distribution, but I know it was on where he was. Moe Green was a character Ramis had done even before SCTV, with National Lampoon's Radio Hour and also at Second City.
I sure hope the afterlife is a collection of our memories in energy form because I binge watched a lot of TV and I want something to watch when I’m in the afterlife.

Fridays and 1970s SNL came close to being irreverent, but, compared to this, it felt like those two shows were trying too hard.
