Col de Dame Blanc Fig Update

Col de Dame was our first variety of the Col de Dame type to produce fruit for us and is continuing to produce a good crop of excellent fruits with an intense berry flavor and slightly sweet. Our tree is about 10 years old and still quite small but a real productive tree for us.

I take it that you are in a warm climate. I have one of these in the PNW and I’ll likely need a greenhouse for it and my Black Madeira KK.

We are in USDA zone 9b, Sunset zone 14 located in Sacramento County, California. We were warm until today when we only got to about 80F.
