I thought I was good with accents until Peaky Blinders and this series.
I can hardly understand half of it.
Maybe I've been hearing fake accents from actors or something. Too many accents (English).

Soldier Boy doesn't have PTSD, PTSD has Soldier Boy, if you look in the Dictionary for PTSD Soldier Boys picture would be right next to it. Soldier Boy looks young but he's actually over a hundred years old, and an asshole before he became an immortal super-soldier. Decades of fighting in half a dozen wars, engaging in legally questionable black ops, and being a prisoner and test subject of the Russians made him even worse.
Nah he was nearly invulnerable... those wars did nothing to him. It was the Russian torture and experimentations which gave him trauma. Hence why he flashbacks to Russian trauma when his PTSD is triggered...
He was a bully, but after his trauma, he became far less needy and entitled. A man his old fashioned father might have been proud off.
@@Ozzie_Mandias Nothing Physically, PTSD isn't just a result of physical trauma, it's being exposed to the madness and chaos, watching others get hurt and killed, and yourself having to kill again and again and again. In the end you either run from the madness or you embrace it.

Hughie is definitely the super ego. He fits way more into society which is essentially the role of the super ego. It is a filtered you. Butcher dgaf about all that atleast in a conscious level

It's damn near impossible for actors to accurately fake a UK accent. Mr Urban is unfortunately one of many actors who have failed
As a non native speaker, why most movies wisper english as they talk? I always have a hard time listening movies.

Yeah but after blowing up when Butcher gets up and SB stumbles into the room, Butchers says "sorted??" And soldier boy just looks confused and asks what happened, implying that he blew up the place involuntarily and blacked out again

Post traumatic stress disorder something you get after you experience something traumatic
Look at the post Iraq war, drug epidemic. A lot with PTSD were medicated with terrible pharmaceuticals, great business opportunity that took advantage of troubled soldiers. Great way to treat them when they fought for you, That's America for you.
