Holy moly. It's so choppy! Your expander/gate threshold is wayyyy too aggressive.
Start at like -30 dB and go from there.
How do you have this plugged into your MG10xu? Is it a TRS from the dbx's output into the mic/line 1 channel on the mg10xu? If so do you have you volume nob turned up 3/4 of the way?
Your video has that infamous DBX "pumping" characteristic.
What other gear do you need with it? Do you need an interface with it or a cloud lifter or can you just use the dbx alone?
That's a pretty sick product at a good price too

I think your voice sounds better without it
You are pushing the compressor and gate way too hard, it actually sounds better with the processing off. You should back of the gate at least to about -30db and have about -6db gain reduction on the compressor. Your voice is pumping so much it's hard to listen to.
Its a great unit.But it's set up all wrong!
