I don't really understand why that question was so offensive in the first place. Respect to the reporter for just speaking his mind and not backing down.
I don't think it's offensive I think it's just an unnecessary question. It's more than obvious that teams should win games. The questions are in the analysis of the game and different elements that make up decisions and plays, etc. Imagine playing your heart out for someone to ask you a question that doesn't really even speak to the truth of how the game coordinated and played. This, sir, is a waste of time. If an interviewer can answer the question then why do they need the interview? The power is in what you ask and how it is asked. For example, Westbrook asks a very open-ended question, "What do you think should change?", to which the reporter responds "Winning.", which Westbrook says is obvious and he then asks the open-ended question again, "What do you think should change?" The way the question is framed from Westbrook is intended to illicit thought, consideration, and analysis of how and what factors were contributors to the outcome of the game. However, the reporter answered is in a closed manner. Open questions are designed to get you to think. Closed questions are designed to have you not think and just answer. As a journalist he should know this. Note that Westbrook doesn't disagree with the reporter, then he clarifies at the end to which the reporter asks a real question and Westbrook said he respected that because it's an actual question.

There are no reporters (not current NBA players at their 2nd job) but actual journalists that can play in the NBA. However they are paid to ask questions skillfully of NBA players. This reporter did a great job of asking the questions without placing blame or being antagonistic. He will last......way after many players have retired from the league.

Why you stop uploading??
everyone else is doing them now
Awesome 👍😎
I remember watching this live right after the game lol
There are no reporters (not current NBA players at their 2nd job) but actual journalists that can play in the NBA. However they are paid to ask questions skillfully of NBA players. This reporter did a great job of asking the questions without placing blame or being antagonistic. He will last......way after many players have retired from the league.
Draymond.😁
You good?
Notice that he didn't start showing the reporter any 'respect' until he realised camera was pointing at them.
“I know I dont have the answers, Kanye.. that’s why I’m asking you the questions”
Reporter: You brick all the time
Westbrook: Whaaaaat!!! (His meme)
Reporter: Oh yeah! you heard me!
You brick all the time
Westbrook: ayt, I don't care!
Reporter: Yeah! WestBRICK!
Westbrook: Hey!3x... yo!.. that's too much bruh!...

What happened to your channel bro?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 legendary 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Some people can’t handle truthful questions‼️🤷🏽♂️🤣
When i saw "pts 21" i was like russ underrated than i saw "in 6 days"
That’s what he averaged in the last 6 games u doughball
@@sambewsher Are u slow i literally said that he did it in 6 days read well bro
Where tf is u
Westbrick bitin' his sweet plump chocolate lips lookin' at that reporter...may we all be so lucky to have someone look at us that way.
stop it, not that deep 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Respect
Here looking for the highlights playoff. What happened to the channel?
Fr
Russ has the whackest logic sometimes FR
Bro it’s the fact that the reported said winning bro like my man’s do you not know they train they hardest and do the most to try and win. Wilding
Why he rolling his eyes tho 😂
For those who don’t understand the reporter’s point: Russ is a professional basketball player. We don’t fully understand the tactics those guys use, why you run certain plays when they do, what game plans they implement, what they try to impose out of timeouts, etc. Russell should have the answers of how to help improve the game plan, he should at least have an opinion because he understands what isn’t going right.
people really forget how disrespectful NBA media, interviewers, and blog pages have been to Westbrook this year. calling him “Westbrick”, making fun of how much he cares for the team, it’s sad. let him live.
When he does that eye twitch thing I feel like he is about to explode
Oh yah west brook idol at all times
Bro this channel finessed some subs and dipped
😂😂😂what
He made no money
A conversation between men.
Man singular
A child and a man
Well, one of them is a man.
Lady and wife you mean
Everything I say is a joke lol.. It's all satire and I do it cause I barely get attention irl. I'm gonna be honest lmao
Respect to the reporter, that’s true reporting, not just going based on what the players WANT to hear
Why is no one talking about that Westbrook was wearing makeup?😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Russ is Sus with that make up on.
What happened to this account?😢
Is he wearing eyeliner lol
WB:"What do you think should change?"
RP:"ME???"
WB:"Another Meme Worthy Reaction"
Russell was dismissing his questions being disrespectful then tried to walk out like a female all in her feelings but that reporter stepped to him like a real man and you are going to respect him and answer his questions.
lmao why you gotta make it so gendered tf?
Sergeant, we got a class A incel inbound. Requesting backup immediately
@@junocurry he’s not wrong
Westbrook should just retire from basketball. He doesn't respect the game and he doesn't care about winning.
Any idea if MLG has another channel? I've been to Universe Highlights and it's also not showing highlights anymore. NBA really does a bad job cutting highlights that's why I don't watch it.
He was d riding only lakers warriors games and they doing bad so he probably stopped all together who wants to see lakers lost 45 times in a season, I found multiple other channels way better than mlg and universe I only clicked this vid cause I love seeing lakers downfall..
@@OgGuak420 can you recommend those channels?
@@OgGuak420 please give me better channels
Can’t argue with facts.
It's actually sad how little Russ has grown as a player and person over his career. He's never taken any accountability whatsoever
It has a lot to do with our culture as well… we don’t reward humility well enough when we see it. The Narcissists get way more attention by comparison.
He has taken accountability!!! I salute him to not fold and be out there playing…. if the lakers win this year he will get his rings 😅😂😂.. lakers in 5!!
@@tteso2410 He doesn't play for the Lakers anymore lol and his team which is now the Clippers, are out until next season.
Only a black man get that no look hand shake 😂😂
What he said! 🤛🏾
The Classic go ‘dap’the guy up when you get out smarted.
This is like that sing in Goodfellas where Joe Pesci pretends he was just joking the whole time
Given the way Westbrook has been treated in some parts of the media, I think he thought that the reporter might've asked that question so he could segway into talking about Russ's performance as the reason his team was losing. Respect to the reporter for clarifying & being insistent without being mean and respect to Russ for eventually accepting that.
some? you mean most of the media?
@@mikebipping6166 yeah
maybe Russ should give better answers than "nothing". the media probably treated him a certain way for a reason..
@@stephencox8723 I agree. If I recall correctly, though, he admitted in this clip that he didn't have one. But if you say that, as a player, I think u can get roasted & it's pretty brutal / unfair at times, so I understand not answering the question, even if I disagree with that.
Where did MLG HIGHLIGHTS go?😓
Wayne Ellington vet stepping up
Shouldn’t have to be that way to gain someone’s respect. Anybody who thinks acting this way is okay is wrong.
