Russell Westbrook does this all the time and I admire him for that. To be honest, I don't follow basketball very closely, but I know who's who, and which teams are better, superstar players and so on. I have heard stories about Russell Westbrook saying these things, and how they are all one team. Though it is pretty well known that he is one of the best players/ leaders, he doesn't see it that way. He continues to persevere with the fact that they are one team, and that you shouldn't divide them into groups. This is just my opinion, so I don't know if I'm 100% correct, but this is pretty much what I believe.
Liam Rayder Yeah there's a solid truth within that idea, but it seemed like Russ was just a bit rude about it and could have said it in a way that's a bit more nice. But I definitely see where he's coming from about the reporters trying to blame the team separating Russ and Russ underatands that it can create tension and drama in the locker room if he doesn't speak up about it.
Liam Rayder Reporters are sneaky like that. They try to plant those seeds just to create drama for better ratings and if the people being interviewed aren't careful and attentive they can fall for it.
